  • The birth of the u.s. army national guard. The oldest brach in the military.

  • We watched this part at school today no kidding.

  • And that's how we won

  • @TheImperialistStates The Battle of Camden was a British victory

  • @aspiringdrummer17 Yes, but we won the war.

  • @TheImperialistStates Yes but Imagen how happy the world would be now if we did

  • @SuperLamarrio64DS If who did? Britain? Britain is one of most hated country in the world behind us. The World would just Be Cursing the U.K, not the U.S lol.

  • @TheImperialistStates I was going to write a rude reply, but then I saw lol at the end and I decided not to so ah well, and by the way Britain isn't a country

  • @SuperLamarrio64DS w/e England/Scotland and whales makes Great Britain w/e, I'm calling it Britain lol.

  • 'nearly take the honour out of victory' shut the fuck up you fat cunt!!!!!!!

  • @SandmanRR3 Ease up dude, he ate his own words in the end.

  • Can't deny, the British had the best army ever, in comparison.

  • I like this movie :)

  • @zyzor

    Scholar of History = FAIL

    LOL

This movie is just more propaganda bullshit. It captured the [hearts and minds] of the masses.

Hell, even our history books, I mean "social study" books have been altered. Ever hear of a man named John Dewey?

  • The American population was of British decent that you cannot deny after Britain settled in America we sent many people to live there (mainly scots and Irish damn you England) and after a while the decedents of these colonials wanted to break off from british rule (I don't blame them) and called themselves American

  • 4 people were the guy that lost his head with the canon shot

  • yelled at teahcer 4 not lettin me see the guy's head getting blown off... :)

  • What's the song called?

  • @andrewpark35 March of The British Grenadiers

  • 很可惜找不到 高清的在线视频 要嘛就是海外看不了的 ╮(╯▽╰)╭

  • @JRM821 It was really a civil war, you did not have your own country, There was no such thing as the USA till after you guys won. You all had english accents. If you look up on your history, most of your leaders in that war, fought in the british army before hand.

Your just a thick American. Appreciate where your ancestors come from and and what they done and the culture you have today.

  • GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

  • this movie is highly inaccurate, but being a scholar of history and the american revolution, i still enjoy this movie for its portrayal of the hardships and sacrifices that Americans DID suffer during that time. The characters are all based on real figures which is what makes them interesting, and the battle scenes although somewhat confusing as to place and time, are very detailed and do a good job of showing the brutality of 18th century combat.

  • The British won in the end.

“Your churches will be used to teach the Jew’s religion and in less than two hundred years the whole nation will be working for Divine World Government. That government that they believe to be divine will be the British Empire.

All religion will be permeated with Judaism without even being noticed by the masses and they will all be under the invisible All-seeing Eye of the Grand Architect of Freemasonry.” --General Cornwallis to General George Washington

  • @zyzor Some IMPORTANT things that people don't know about Washington DC. It has its [own] independent constitution(lex fori) and has it's own flag. A nice obelisk too.... ***The Washington DC flag has three red stars, each represents a city state. *Washington DC(military) *Vatican City(spiritual) *City of London(financial) -Some of the founders were Freemasons -Freemasons use the King James Bible. -King James rewrote the Bible in 1611 -Cornwallis was a Freemason Scholar = FAIL LOL

  • @zekeandluther3 Not true only a small portion hate you but then again most of the world hates America I for one love my colonial allies some people just need to grow up and stop living in the past.

  • Roland Emmerich is a brillaint Historical films director. It great he is making a film set in the 1590s England.

  • 2:54 BOOM HEADSHOT

  • your LIMEY CHRISTOPHER HITCHENS....... OUTSPOKEN ATHEIST HAS CANCER THAT IS SPREADING........well,,,,,,,,,,there must BE A GOD SOMEWHERE! KEEP YOUR LIMEYS LIKE TINA BROWN, PIERS MORGAN, SIMON HOBBS AND STUART VARNEY IN ENGLAND......we don't need them, we don't want them,,,, they are insipid, vacuous, pompous, banal gossip mongers who belong in the tabloid world of limey news print where they amuse your white trash and amaze your leering royals.

  • @ERROLCUSTERFLYNN4EVR Instead of celebrating the suffering of an enemy, doesn't our Bible say to love our enemies and give them rest and shelter if they need it?

  • Did the Americans really have uniforms as is pictured I thought they were mostly rag tag except for the American officers

  • @bobbollu basicaly almost every soldier in the american army was rag tag there were some units like fully dressed but this movie is unrealistic

  • wow the music is soo delightful yet i'm seeing people getting killed and limbs flying everywhere lmao

  • if my infantry in empire total war would be so precise...

  • nice movie

  • what is the song that the british is playing? like it lol

  • @CFHacker100 The British Grenadiers :

  • cannon ball scene. very cool

  • i can give a fuck....the north ends up winning anyways.......fuck the south ands anybody else who likes it

  • @BallisticRacing This is the revolutionary war you moron, not the civil war. Do us a favor and have yourself sterilized, then banish yourself deep into the recesses of some cavern where no one will ever find you. Be sure to take your helmet, crayons and coloring book when you go, you fucking idiot.

  • @BallisticRacing This comment just show's how smart you fucking retards from the North are. This is the American Revolution you fucking asshat. Please never come to the South.

  • I fucking hate Mel Gibson.

I made the mistake of watching this film once. spent most of it just hoping a grenadier would stick a bayonet through his head.

    phew.... i feel better

  • @MrLtPink what the fuck is your problem this movie was great

  • @fra2603 Come ooooon he's a sexist, anti-semitic poo poo head.

  • @MrLtPink yeah but what does this have to do with this movie. poo poo head

  • @fra2603 He's in it ergo it's unbearable. I don't mind so but about the portrayal of the British or the historical inaccuracies, it's only a movie after all, but i just can't stand that guy.

  • @MrLtPink I like him. Why is he sexist?

  • @fra2603 Well I can't quote him but i'm sure his various rants can be found through google or something. They're fairly entertaining if you've got 5 minutes to kill.

  • @MrLtPink of course I've got 5 minutes to kill.

  • @MrLtPink He's still a great actor. Ever watch Galopolli?

  • @360Nomad So what? Roman Polanski might be a great director, he's also a pedophile.

  • @MrLtPink Pedophiliac acts are a serious crime. Mel Gibson's only crime was that he got drunk and asked a cop if he was a Jew.

  • @360Nomad That wasn't my point. What I implied was that character defects are not nullified by talent in other areas.

  • although these tactics are extremely stupid, you have to admit, it takes some balls to walk strait into cannon fire and know there is a 105% chance you are going to die

  • we british lost cause the americans had the french to help them and the clever but cowardly guerilla warfare tactics. still it is a great movie and one of my favourite time periods.

  • @wigster600 the english brought in the hessian mercenaries from germany to help them fight as well.

  • @wigster600 It would be called cowardly tactics if your side lost of course. To the neutral sides and the victors it's called using skill and strategy. Oh well, everybody tends to be a sore loser in war.

  • Mel Gibsons films are a joke. he makes the british out to be murdering savages. (lets face it, the british probably behaved better in the war of independance than america did 200 years later in vietnam.) He uses the names of historic battles but creates a completely different battle. It annoys me that in almost all these type of films they pretend cannons fired explosive shells and used indirect fire as a howitzer would have done, its ridiculous.

  • 2:54 the Headless Horseman!! XD

  • Some speak of Alexander and some of herculeus, of hector and lysander and great names such as these but of all the worlds great heroes theres none that can compare to the towrowowowow of the British Grenadiers

  • Thank of 3D when the ball bounces

  • I'm seeing this movie in history class too, its funny because in the part that the head comes of my history teacher only said "don't wory the americans had duck tape everything was just dandy in that battle". I really love american revolution war battles.

  • Im watching this movie in class and just saw the part where that guy gets his head blown off

  • Quick, desisive battles. Just like the ancient Greeks fought them. Of course they would take cover when available, though, obviously. They aren't stupid. This kind of warfare is weirdly overlooked to say the least. Although the hollywood directors make the muskets 10x more accurate and have the lines stand wayyy closer than in reality.

  • who is the actor that is laughing at the end?

  • @MystiqueMr why? u in love with him lmao lol.

  • @easynowww lol, no i just think he plays a funny character

  • It's odd, because war back then was basically a giant game of punch-for-punch.

  • @bjpw1234 Not really! it was a war of formation and that's it mainly because you were stronger in one then if you were spread apart and in an open field with no cover. usually skirmishes in forests where you can take cover behind trees they would they weren't that dumb plus warfare advanced greatly in the 1800s

  • takes forever to loaddddd

  • skip to 2:53 if you want to see someones head getting blown off

  • @tusselman159 thank you man xD

  • its crazy to think that people once fought wars like this. you slap me i slap you.

  • @gcso401 this type of warfare is honourable and civilized! garilla warfare is cheating and very very uncivilized!

  • @eltonforlife there is nothing civil about war.

  • @gcso401 yes there is! this one!

  • @eltonforlife

Well mate...I love military history. ironically I think no war is civilizied.

  • @eltonforlife Guerrilla warfare is smart. It was invented so small bands of fighters could take on much much larger forces, who would otherwise dominate the guerrillas. Win any way you can.

  • @bjpw1234 and yes Guerrilla warfare is smart and was apart of war ever since the Roman Era

  • @eltonforlife NO WAR IS CIVILIZED AND HONOURABLE!!!!

  • no more that a english civil war ,with some french helping english setlers

  • @hyenachase Most were actually Ulster-Scots. Who had anti-english feelings anyway.

  • @easynowww

. Most of them were American born. Im looking at the figures for a company of the 2nd Contintal Rgt. 31 native born, 4 Irish, 1 English. No Scots. Of 103 deserters from the 1st Rgt, 64 were American, 23 Irish, 3 English, 1 German, 1 Spanish and 11 "European". In the 2nd regt at Valley forge, there are only 37 foriegn born soldiers, 12 English, 11 Irish, 9 German, 5 Scottish and a Newfoundlander. In the 11th, their were 90 Irishmen, and 41 English, to 6 Scots, 9 Germans and a Welshman

  • @Tiwaz81 Am not talking about if they born in USA or not. Am talking about their parents and ancestors. Am talking about the American born Ulster-Scots and American born English folks. If u consider the American born then obviously they were mostly Ulster-Scots or English.
