The SS224 is my fav Sigma brush too....use it all the time ;) When they came in the post I was amazed at how soft they are, couldn't stop stroking them.....
I would have to say youtube has been a confidence booster to me. There was a time when I was down and depressed then I discovered I could go to youtube and see what people are up to and learn new things that I'm interested in and it has really made me feel better. I look forward to seeing makeup reviews and learning how to cut tshirts and most important seeing how people are dedicated enough to the community to spend their time showing us wonderful tips and tricks. You are really an inspiration.

First off, I love the YT community! Through a lot of amazing gurus [like you!], I've started to branch out into trying different, crazy looks that I would've never though of before. Make-up has definitely become an outlet for artwork for me now. Before youtube, I would also just buy items on a whim, but honestly, now I can't buy anything [make-up related] without doing my research and finding reviews on them first!

I am a newby on youtube, but since I've been on here I have gained so much knowledge on beauty from makeup to hairproducts and have loved learning how to apply makeup properly, I have learned so many techiniques from all of the videos that I would have never learned otherwise. Being apart of the youtube community is amazing. I love it but it absoulutely blows my mind how people will take the time to sit down, record and make a video plus edit it to help people u dont even know. Someone will learn something cool and then pass it on to us. Its almost like the big sister i never had XD Really you, among with other make up gurros are my soul source of info! and you guys are all so kind and sweet!
I love being a part of the youtube beauty community and all of the amazing things I've learned about - from how to cut my son's hair, threading my own eyebrows, applying makeup in a multitude of ways, tips & tricks for my curly mane, and product reviews for hair, skincare, and makeup. Youtube has probably cost me as much $ as it has saved me, but it's so much fun to observe & learn from people who enjoy beauty related topics as much as I do. the best thing about youtube is that it cleared my skin; giving me a confidence that i didnt think possible...it taught me hundreds of ways to dress up my face and i love seeing the gurus' little tips and tricks :D

With the numerous reviews posted by makeup gurus on youtube, i have learned to 'customize' my entire makeup collection. Previously, all purchases had been made on impulse and my collection went overboard. Like everyone else, youtube is a learning channel for me and i have learnt to apply makeup flawlessly - making myself and my friends more confident than before. I look forward to every single new day to try out different techniques.
The most positive thing about being on youtube is learning about people's beaut secrets. Sometimes when you ask people what lipstick they're wearing, or eyeshadow they will say they don't remember. But being apart of the youtube community, I've discovered so many wonderful gurus who will share everything they know and really put their hearts into these videos. I've learned so much about my skin such as undertones, and even the popular products or makeup that are having all the hype.
the best thing about being part (or at least a at viewer) is all the "free" advice i get about every beauty product i am thinking of buying/trying. also, i only started wearing makeup about a few months ago and i had no clue how to use any of the stuff, so the gurus have been a big help and i have learned so much.

I find that the most positive thing about the YouTube beauty community is that the gurus have really inspired me to go outside my comfort zone and try new things. best thing for me is that i have learned everything about make up from you tube . i was kind of nerd all my life ..didn't know anything about makeup. only thing i knew was how to apply lipstick !!! watching this video helped me a lot.
The most positive thing about being part of the YouTube makeup community was, it made me follow my dreams to pursue a makeup career. Something that I didnt think I had in me till I started watching tutorials and tips and tricks, and learned if I put my heart and soul into something I could do exactly what I wanted to do. Which now im happy to say I work for a free lancing makeup company here in my town and I dont think I could of gotten this job without the you tube makeup community
I think the best thing that has come from me stubling upon this fantastic world of makeup on youtube has been the fact that i've learned so much. I've learned that you don't have to be an expert to apply makeup well and that you don't have to have a ton of money either. thanks soo much!
Three things: First, watching application of different types of makeup products helps to compare and decide which ones to go ahead and buy before actually buying without knowing anything about them. Second, to see what products work well and don't work for what types of people so that you make your decision to try that product for yourself. Third, to release stress by doing something completely different than daily work.
the most important thing I have learned is that having a good dressing sens and feeling confident is very beautiful. Following all the gurus tips on makeup was really helpful in getting started with makeup. My mom never wears makeup but I do all my try sessions on her and she doesn't mind, goes out with her friends and now, I am also ending up doing makeup on her friends too. its about making others feel beautiful and confident! thats what I have learned from youtube videos! <3
The most possitive thing to me about being a part of the make-up community is LEARNING... Sound so dorky, but it helps me learn about so many new make-up looks! Good things is that it has helped me be more confident because the way I dress, and my make-up if very important to me! =)
i am aspiring to b a plus size model and i want to inspire other big girls as myself! i love youtube because it really helps me be more comfortable talking to people and being in front of the camera. I get familiarized with it, plus i get to learn new make up tricks myself ! my family is not very rich, and i am in school and cant really spend so much money thats why i would love to be one of the winners, i do not have an appropriate concealer bursh etc.. because they are just soe xpensive!! :

There are so many awesome girls here on youtube who are so nice and who like to share their knowledge of makeup with others and I love that. Its helped me learn so many things about makeup that I didn't know before like makeup techniques and what the best makeup products are.

The whole youtube community means a lot to me. I go every day to sign up and watch a bunch of new videos. I learn so much in a year. Everyone in the school gives me the compliments how nice my skin looks (makeup of course) and so on..I can't afford a buch of makeup but I do have a basics. I slowly upgrade my collection. The most positive thing about being apart of the youtube makeup community is seeing there are other intelligent, vivacious & fun women who are just as obsessed with makeup as I am. It is a nice escape from real life stressors and I have learned a lot from all of u and found some HG's too!

I would say that the most positive thing about this make-up community is how much everyone helps each other. It's almost like a sisterhood. Everyone looks out for each other. Teaching the popper and most convenient ways to put on make-up and finding quality make-up products and tools for good prices. I also love how it's almost like a free on-line cosmetology class!

Being a single mother of three I'm always so busy with work and the kids there just isn't enough time to buy and figure out which makeup is great for me. Just coming out of postpardum after having my first daughter at a young age, i lost my hot spicy side. Being on youtube and watched all the wonderful videos have inspired me to "BRING SEXY BACK" its so helpful to learn how to become more feminan and be happy about myself. I have recently just gotten into eye makeups. I usually wear makeup (foundation, blush, lipgloss, liner, mascara) but I was never big on colors on my eyes. But after having watched all these beauty videos on youtube, I really got inspired and started doing more eye makeups and getting creative. I've also learned some really good beauty tips. I never knew that we had to use a primer potion for eyes. But, now I know! And it has helped tremendously and also boosting my confidence!

Finding Youtube has really changed my makeup life. Growing up, my mother never wore makeup and my 2 older sisters were out of the house before I was wearing makeup so I had no one to teach me. Like most people, i'd go to a makeup counter, and have all the gorgeous, talented people put make up on me, and send me on my way with products i had no idea on how to use. I've been having a blast since finding all of the makeup guru's(accidentally). I never learned how to apply makeup correctly so I never bothered, now my daughter&I have makeup nights 2gether. a couple yrs ago i had no idea wht i wanted to do w my life but i knew i had a passion for makeup and my skills werent too shabby either lol until I randomly did a search for a smokey eye here on you tube and i had no clue on how many people were doing tuts, hauls, reviews, etc, this is like a make up mecca of artists and just everyday people that have the same passion as i do. I now have a small cleint base and am doing something i love n i do owe that in part to youtube n i am very greatful!
I have always been really into makeup but I have been much more into makeup when i found so much more inspiration on this makeup community, and the most positive thing for me is that i have learned through these beautiful girls so many different techniques and a lot of differents ways to do makeup and that's amazing! I also love review videos because sometimes they save me some money and it's incredible how many times i have rediscovered a product that i already had and to see how great it was!

What I really like about youtube especially the howto &style categories is that very person has their own perspective of different styles& look, i love it! i love the fact you can type up something like " Smokey Eye Tutorial" and so many videos come up. Its great to know, if one way doesnt work or dont like, there a so many more tutorials to try. Youtube has been a great way to express creativity either through hair or makeup. Also help others get started just like myself!
Before I started watching Youtube, I used to almost never wear makeup. I would buy it, but never really knew how to apply it properly. After I started watching videos created by makeup gurus, I was able to start wearing makeup properly. I felt more confidence with my appearance. I also learned that showing my own beauty was always better than applying tons and tons of makeup. Makeup is supposed to enhance, not hide. So thanks you and all the people who create videos that help people.

The best part for me is the fact I got to learn a new *positive* habit instead of relying on other things like emotional eating or being nervous. Being part of this community is my anti druge. It just help me feel pretty no matter how I look and it also thought me the beauty is skin deep. That personality is more important than beauty and that make up enhances beauty not make you beautiful.
Being a part of the beauty guru community on youtube has been very positive for me. It's great to know that there are so many other people out there who are also passionate about makeup. I think the biggest thing i've gained is the ability to hear multiple opinions about a product before I try it myself. It saves me lots of money to know what works for real women and what doesn't. the best part of being a part of this community is learning that there are ways to be happy in my own skin. and finding new ways to play up certain aspects of my appearance. and also its just a good confidence booster and helps me learn more about myself and helps me relate to others.
So being part of this youtube community for me is not just about learning about beauty - I've learnt so much it's unbelievable but the best thing for me has been the feeling of identity or recognition in your own inquisitiveness in other people. I probably will never forget the first time someone replied to one of my comments, and I just felt like beauty is not something superficial to be embarrassed about but something we can relate to one another through. so thanks so much, everyone here!
The best part for me is when there are reviews so that I know if I should buy the product or not. Also cool new looks for me try my self and to see everyones love for make-up and different products that other people may have. That's my favourite part about the make-up world on youtube. : )

Youtube & all the wonderful people on here have helped me figure out what I want to do in life. I had no idea what I wanted to do in life but after watching makeup tutorials I learned so much! So because of youtube and all the wonderful people I am going to a makeup academy to be a professional makeup artist :). I have been going through hard times. I have so many negative people in my life that push me down but there are so many people on youtube that encourage me and inspire me to do anything.
The best thing about being apart of this community is that I don't have anyone in my everyday real life to share a love of makeup etc. with. So, it's so nice to just come on YT and enjoy every one's videos and know that there's others out there that get excited over eyeshadow, too. :)

i love that youtube has made a style and how do, because my mom never teached me how to put on makeup and it gives me a chance to learn. I think one of the positive things about the youtube make-up community is that directly and indirectly girls are helping each other to create an outward confidence as well as an inner confidence. The most amazing thing about makeup community on youtube for me is that it has helped me a lot in boosting up my confidence and interest in makeup. It has taught me so many easy and professional makeup application techniques at the same time that i thought only profesional makeup artists would know. i actually learned (on youtube) that the most important thing in makeup are good tools, especially brushes. for years i used to apply everything with my hands and now i have my own mac217 which i think is the best thing ever invented :)
I am extremely thankful for The YouTube community because it has helped me a lot makeup wise. I am a mother of a 1 and 2 yr old babies and I've pretty much focused my entire life on them and not really on me and thanks to the YouTube community I've started to focus a bit on myself and now I make time either to apply my makeup or to do my eyebrows things that I never would of learned without this community
I started youtube when I was about 12, and fell in love with all the make up videos.. I started with my own smokey eyes, and now 3 years later I have a lot more subscriptions and I'm fully enjoying all the nice gurus and videos :)

I think that best thing about the youtube community is that strangers can come together, regardless of age, sex, ethnicity, etc., and support each other by uploading their info videos, providing suggestions. I check YouTube everyday! It's an escape for me. My love for all things beauty has been renewed! The videos are SO helpful! I think the biggest part of the YT community for me is that people who do not even know each other can support each other. We all are able to learn something from everyone. I have also had an opportunity to learn a lot of great techniques about makeup application.
I am so grateful for coming across the YouTube Beauty community b/c I have learned so much about makeup application, specifically applying eyeshadow to monolids. I never bothered wearing eye makeup b/c I did not know if it would complement my monolids, but now I know different. All the helpful tutorials made me view makeup in a new light. Now I think monolids are absolutely beautiful and makeup just enhances their shape. I am so enjoying being "girly". :o)

Honestly, for me the amazing aspect of the YouTube makeup community is the fact that all women on these channels, no matter what country in the world, want to look and feel good about themselves. Us "girls" have this common bond and just want to exchange fun ideas! We tell each other the truth, and we can see what works and what doesn't. The videos give us an opportunity to connect with people we wouldn't normally and that makes us take off the blinders in a sometimes fearful world.
i've learned so much from the youtube beauty community. i did wear makeup before, but i've been able to pick up so many new techiques after watching the many beauty gurus. my mom and most of my girlfriends aren't really into makeup so i've basically had to teach myself. because of the videos, i've been able to learn so much more and it has also enabled me to branch out from the neutral colors i'm used to wearing and start doing more bold looks going out looks.
The most amazing part of being in the youtube makeup community is that we all share the passion for makeup. It could be from very inexpensive makeup, to very high end makeup. There are products out there that I have bought because I thought they were going to give me that "perfect look". But I must say that my regret products will never go away, nor I will throw them away! I'll just be a little more creative with that product and take a different apprach on it.

The most positive thing about the youtube makeup community is that it feels like a family. You can watch all your favorite Makeup Gurus and feel like it's your best friend giving you the best suggestions to try what they like and give inspiration. It's helped me by opening up a whole new world to me because before I watched makeup videos I was NEVER into makeup. I was not knowledgeable at all and now I love it. I know what's best for my dry skin and how to put on makeup.
Before Youtube, I have read a lot of make-up books and magazine but I could never create the results that I saw. Ever since I found Enkore, Pursebuzz, Kandee and your site, I have really learned a lot! Not only has my technique improve but so has my product knowledge. Now I do not waste money buying things I don't want/think I need but rather only those that are truly worth it.
I rarely used to get on youtube until one day I entered the word 'makeup' in the search bar and I got TONS of results that I did not expect; tutorials, makeup looks, hauls, reviews. Hello! Being a part of the youtube makeup community has taught me how to use makeup correctly as well as becoming more educated with different makeup brands. I'm a cheerleader, and ever since i have been watching youtube videos, i have been doing all the makeup for games in my squad. Each morning i can confidently do my makeup, without worrying about how it will look at school.
i started watching youtube about a year ago i woudl say, i had no clue about what you can do with makeup and how you can play with colours and how to apply foundation. i was 18 years old when i came across youtube and the makeup community i learned so much now i know what colours to choose for my skin colour and how to apply them to make them suit my eye shape. i love every guru who does amazing makeup and that thaught me lots of things(as your a big part of that )till this day i thank youtube

I have had a channel since the beginning of August. I have had a great experiece with the youtube community. Although I do not have that many subscribers I love the youtube makeup community. I love learning all different types of makeup tricks and ideas. When I first started watching makeup videos on youtube I had no idea about half of the stuff about makeup. Another great experience I have had with youtube is trying new looks and youtube has help me come up with lots of ideas for makeup looks.

The best part of being part of the makeup youtube community is defiantly the fact that I learned how to actually use makeup to my advantage. I used to be scared to even apply lip-gloss and now I spend around 20-30 minutes in the morning applying makeup. This has also given me a great confidence boost and I must say in a way it has changed my life and the way I look at myself.

I would have to say youtube has been a confidence booster to me. There was a time when I was down and depressed then I discovered I could go to youtube and see what people are up to and learn new things that I'm interested in and it has really made me feel better. I look forward to seeing makeup reviews and learning how to cut tshirts and most important seeing how people are dedicated enough to the community to spend their time showing us wonderful tips and tricks. I love being a part of the youtube beauty community and all of the amazing things I've learned about - from how to cut my son's hair, threading my own eyebrows, applying makeup in a multitude of ways, tips & tricks for my curly mane, and product reviews for hair, skincare, and makeup. Youtube has probably cost me as much $ as it has saved me, but it's so much fun to observe & learn from people who enjoy beauty related topics as much as I do. With the numerous reviews posted by makeup gurus on youtube, i have learned to 'customize' my entire makeup collection. Previously, all purchases had been made on impulse and my collection went overboard. The most positive thing about being on youtube is learning about people's beaut secrets. Sometimes when you ask people what lipstick they're wearing, or eyeshadow they will say they don't remember. But being apart of the youtube community, I've discovered so many wonderful gurus who will share everything they know and really put their hearts into these videos. The most positive thing about being part of the YouTube makeup community was, it made me follow my dreams to pursue a makeup career. Something that I didnt think I had in me till I started watching tutorials and tips and tricks, and learned if I put my heart and soul into something I could do exactly what I wanted to do. Three things: First, watching application of different types of makeup products helps to compare and decide which ones to go ahead and buy before actually buying without knowing anything about them. Second, to see what products work well and don't work for what types of people so that you make your decision to try that product for yourself. Third, to release stress by doing something completely different than daily work.

the most important thing I have learned is that having a good dressing sens and feeling confident is very beautiful. Following all the gurus tips on makeup was really helpful in getting started with makeup. My mom never wears makeup but I do all my try sessions on her and she doesn't mind, goes out with her friends and now, I am also ending up doing makeup on her friends too. its about making others feel beautiful and confident! thats what I have learned from youtube videos! <3

The whole youtube community means a lot to me. I go every day to sign up and watch a bunch of new videos. I learn so much in a year. Everyone in the school gives me the compliments how nice my skin looks (makeup of course) and so on..I can't afford a buch of makeup but I do have a basics. I slowly upgrade my collection. You are great to have such a huge contest. Means lot to me.

I would say that the most positive thing about this make-up community is how much everyone helps each other. It's almost like a sisterhood. Everyone looks out for each other. Teaching the popper and most convenient ways to put on make-up and finding quality make-up products and tools for good prices. I also love how it's almost like a free on-line cosmetology class!

I wasn't really into makeup before I started watching youtube videos and oh my gosh, I am in love with makeup. This has really inspired me to become a makeup artist. Being a single mother of three I'm always so busy with work and the kids there just isn't enough time to buy and figure out which makeup is great for me. So I love that there is reviews out there for me to watch and let me know which ones are the best.

Just coming out of postpardum after having my first daughter at a young age, i lost my hot spicy side. I have recently just gotten into eye makeups. I usually wear makeup (foundation, blush, lipgloss, liner, mascara) but I was never big on colors on my eyes. But after having watched all these beauty videos on youtube, I really got inspired and started doing more eye makeups and getting creative. I've also learned some really good beauty tips. I never knew that we had to use a primer potion for eyes. But, now I know! And it has helped tremendously and also boosting my confidence!

Finding Youtube has really changed my makeup life. Growing up, my mother never wore makeup and my 2 older sisters were out of the house before I was wearing makeup so I had no one to teach me. I would just do the bare minimum since I was so lost. Its amazing to think that people who might be depressed or having a rough day, might just come in a see one your videos and feel so inspired and actually have confidence and feel beautiful. I know that is the first thing i do i always come to youtube for inspiration. It is like my own little world, I can just escape from reality and focus on my passion which is makeup. Before I got into the youtube beauty community I had absolutely no background about how to apply makeup. I really wanted to teach myself about all the makeup art techniques and beauty secrets. I can tell you now that I have learned a LOT and I just laugh at myself when I remember how I used to apply makeup and so :D

a couple yrs ago i had no idea wht i wanted to do w my life but i knew i had a passion for makeup and my skills werent too shabby either lol until I randomly did a search for a smokey eye here on you tube and i had no clue on how many people were doing tuts, hauls, reviews, etc, this is like a make up mecca of artists and just everyday people that have the same passion as i do. I now have a small cleint base and am doing something i love n i do owe that in part to youtube n i am very greatful!

I have always been really into makeup but I have been much more into makeup when i found so much more inspiration on this makeup community, and the most positive thing for me is that i have learned through these beautiful girls so many different techniques and a lot of differents ways to do makeup and that's amazing! Before I started watching Youtube, I used to almost never wear makeup. I would buy it, but never really knew how to apply it properly. After I started watching videos created by makeup gurus, I was able to start wearing makeup properly. I felt more confidence with my appearance. I also learned that showing my own beauty was always better than applying tons and tons of makeup. Makeup is supposed to enhance, not hide. So thanks you and all the people who create videos that help people.

The best part for me is the fact I got to learn a new *positive* habit instead of relying on other things like emotional eating or being nervous. Being part of this community is my anti druge. It just help me feel pretty no matter how I look and it also thought me the beauty is skin deep. That personality is more important than beauty and that make up enhances beauty not make you beautiful.

I think the biggest thing i've gained is the ability to hear multiple opinions about a product before I try it myself. It saves me lots of money to know what works for real women and what doesn't. The most amazing thing about makeup community on youtube for me is that it has helped me a lot in boosting up my confidence and interest in makeup. It has taught me so many easy and professional makeup application techniques at the same time that i thought only profesional makeup artists would know. Now i am capable of doing a decent makeup on me myself and show the world my "enahnced" outer beauty without being hesitant. I love this new family of mine :)

The best thing for me about being a part of this youtube community is that I have learned more than I ever thought was possible to know about makeup. I have even learned about different kinds of makeup that I had never heard of. I feel like I can always come to youtube to find out what I need to know about makeup and just be able to keep up with the girls here on youtube.

i actually learned (on youtube) that the most important thing in makeup are good tools, especially brushes. for years i used to apply everything with my hands and now i have my own mac217 which i think is the best thing ever invented :)

I am extremely thankful for The YouTube community because it has helped me a lot makeup wise. I am a mother of a 1 and 2 yr old babies and I've pretty much focused my entire life on them and not really on me and thanks to the YouTube community I've started to focus a bit on myself and now I make time either to apply my makeup or to do my eyebrows things that I never would of learned without this community

I started youtube when I was about 12, and fell in love with all the make up videos.. I started with my own smokey eyes, and now 3 years later I have a lot more subscriptions and I'm fully enjoying all the nice gurus and videos :)

Its a fun, positive environment!
My real life friends are not really into makeup and stuff as much as me so without the youtube beauty community I would never get any tips or learn new makeup tchniques from real live videos haha :)

I think that best thing about the youtube community is that strangers can come together, regardless of age, sex, ethnicity, etc., and support each other by uploading their info videos, providing suggestions. I check YouTube everyday! It's an escape for me. My love for all things beauty has been renewed! The videos are SO helpful! The fact that people are willing to take time out of their day to do this for so many is amazing. And I cannot express how grateful I am! Thank you so so much. :)

I think the biggest part of the YT community for me is that people who do not even know each other can support each other. We all are able to learn something from everyone. I have also had an opportunity to learn a lot of great techniques about makeup application.

I am so grateful for coming across the YouTube Beauty community b/c I have learned so much about makeup application, specifically applying eyeshadow to monolids. I never bothered wearing eye makeup b/c I did not know if it would complement my monolids, but now I know different. All the helpful tutorials made me view makeup in a new light. Now I think monolids are absolutely beautiful and makeup just enhances their shape. I am so enjoying being "girly". :o)

I have been wanting to wear makeup for a very long time, but i was scared to because at school i felt as if people would make fun of me, and tease me. It was not until my last year of high school that i found out that youtube gurus excisted, they showed me that makeup is beautiful, it is something to enjoy not fear!and it really did make me feel just good about myself!

Honestly, for me the amazing aspect of the YouTube makeup community is the fact that all women on these channels, no matter what country in the world, want to look and feel good about themselves. Us "girls" have this common bond and just want to exchange fun ideas! We tell each other the truth, and we can see what works and what doesn't. The videos give us an opportunity to connect with people we wouldn't normally and that makes us take off the blinders in a sometimes fearful world.

i've learned so much from the youtube beauty community. i did wear makeup before, but i've been able to pick up so many new techiques after watching the many beauty gurus. my mom and most of my girlfriends aren't really into makeup so i've basically had to teach myself. because of the videos, i've been able to learn so much more and it has also enabled me to branch out from the neutral colors i'm used to wearing and start doing more bold looks going out looks.

The most amazing part of being in the youtube makeup community is that we all share the passion for makeup. It could be from very inexpensive makeup, to very high end makeup. There are products out there that I have bought because I thought they were going to give me that "perfect look". But I must say that my regret products will never go away, nor I will throw them away! I'll just be a little more creative with that product and take a different apprach on it.

Before youtube i would go to the store and buy wat ever looked good or wat the salesperson would recommend (over 80% of the time was a waist of money) About 2 weeks ago i was looking for a review on foundations and came across your channel i fell in love bcuz of the descriptive reviews. The most positive thing about the youtube makeup community is that it feels like a family. You can watch all your favorite Makeup Gurus and feel like it's your best friend giving you the best suggestions to try what they like and give inspiration. It's helped me by opening up a whole new world to me because before I watched makeup videos I was NEVER into makeup. I was not knowledgeable at all and now I love it. I know what's best for my dry skin and how to put on makeup.

Before Youtube, I have read a lot of make-up books and magazine but I could never create the results that I saw. Ever since I found Enkore, Pursebuzz, Kandee and your site, I have really learned a lot! Not only has my technique improve but so has my product knowledge. Now I do not waste money buying things I don't want/think I need but rather only those that are truly worth it.

I rarely used to get on youtube until one day I entered the word 'makeup' in the search bar and I got TONS of results that I did not expect; tutorials, makeup looks, hauls, reviews. I had always enjoyed makeup, but I never knew much about it or how to apply it very well. Now I know all about brushes, cleaning them, applying makeup, makeup trends etc. I am IN LOVE with it now. I'm always buying knew things and I get on youtube at least twice a day to watch my fav channels. THANK YOU YOUTUBE!

I love to take in the knowledge they put out there and use it in my own life. From the tutorials to reviews all of it has come into play when it comes to reality in purchasing makeup and using it. Before YouTube, I had no idea how to apply makeup. I've learned so much from this channel and as well the other gurus like Pursebuzz, Fafinettex3, Enkore, etc about the application of makeup. It's given me knowledge, confidence and pure joy! I love putting makeup on now that I know how to do it properly and not look like a clown or anything. I also love getting the compliments about the makeup. It makes me proud that I've learned how to do something thru you guys :)

What I like about youtube is that I can learn anything. I was terrible at doing my own make up..my hair.....now I'm good and learn everyday. I have save lots of money from watching reviews before I purchase a product. What I like about your reviews is that you are so honest with them. Hello! Being a part of the youtube makeup community has taught me how to use makeup correctly as well as becoming more educated with different makeup brands. I'm a cheerleader, and ever since i have been watching youtube videos, i have been doing all the makeup for games in my squad. Each morning i can confidently do my makeup, without worrying about how it will look at school.

i started watching youtube about a year ago i woudl say, i had no clue about what you can do with makeup and how you can play with colours and how to apply foundation. i was 18 years old when i came across youtube and the makeup community i learned so much now i know what colours to choose for my skin colour and how to apply them to make them suit my eye shape. i love every guru who does amazing makeup and that thaught me lots of things(as your a big part of that )till this day i thank youtube

The most positive thing about being a part of a video makeup community is Sometimes when your a busy working mom - house wife , you really don't get time to get a girls day/night BUT with you tube you can get the girly time everyday ! all the tips and tricks I have learned are amazing . I have had a channel since the beginning of August. I have had a great experiece with the youtube community. Although I do not have that many subscribers I love the youtube makeup community. I love learning all different types of makeup tricks and ideas. When I first started watching makeup videos on youtube I had no idea about half of the stuff about makeup. Another great experience I have had with youtube is trying new looks and youtube has help me come up with lots of ideas for makeup looks.

plus im able to make wise decisions when buying make up because of the recommendations they make.

The best part of being part of the makeup youtube community is defiantly the fact that I learned how to actually use makeup to my advantage. I used to be scared to even apply lip-gloss and now I spend around 20-30 minutes in the morning applying makeup. This has also given me a great confidence boost and I must say in a way it has changed my life and the way I look at myself.
