  • @stankado10 try buying it.

  • k ppl does it rlly matter that he he said Astrology ppl does it?

  • @TotalGameMaster Yes it really matters. Astrology and Astronomy are two different things. Astrology has to do with your sign like Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, etc. Astronomy has to do with the planets and stars, basically anything that has to do with out space.

  • @AshKetchumRawkz *outer

Sorry 'bout that my keyboard can't keep up with my hands

  • @TotalGameMaster Probably a brain fart, but no it don't matter. Both involve the stars and planets...

  • @radioman970

    it does matter.

Astrology is bullshit (even yoda couldn't see the future :)

    Astronomy is fact.

  • Bam... astrology. You dropped a bomb there dude. Delete this video before rabid dogs rip you apart.

  • Solar Walk for the Ipad is almost as good and a lot cheaper

  • @JSprayaEntertainment The iPad, however, is not.

  • @Abystro lol but who doesn't have an ipod iphone or ipad ... ( oh my bad i didn't know poor people had the internet/youtube )

  • serial?

  • I watch this vid and I jizz in my pants.

  • This is not a game! He treats it like one though.

  • universe sandbox 2 is 29 dollars.... makes no sence, 1,000s of people use it, and he would get over 20,000 if he sold it for ten bucks, why rip people off?

  • My Norton is telling me its a virus ... my comp locks up after trying to install. WTF?

  • Astronomy is awesome... But wtf, astrology? I hate astrology.

  • "Astrology" - what an idiot!

  • "astrology"?! education fail!

  • Did you say astrology? MY EARS! IT BURNS!

  • Hey, doesn't the 'dark side' of the moon refer to the side that always points away from the earth, whether it's lit or not? That's what I always heard. Otherwise, there's a 'dark side' of the earth, Mars, etc.

  • @sobeita The dark side is the side that is dark. Period. The Far Side is what you want to call the side that faces away from earth.

  • @dethaduj That's true, but unfortunately, no one uses those names in common conversation. It's like how the "plus" side of the battery is really the side with the negative charge.

Otherwise... there wouldn't be a name for the "dark side" of the moon. In my original post, I mentioned that... if the "dark side" were 'whatever side happens to be dark at the moment you say it', then even bits of space junk would have "dark sides". Instead, you only hear about the "dark side" of the moon.

  • Everybody!!!

    Go and get Celestia!

    Now thats a real simulator.

  • @melis256

celestia is awesome but it shows what is there and nothing more. (its more like planitarium software than simulation. everything is pre programmed with actual orbits etc) yeah you can add fictional stuff in orbit around stars and planets but these have no effect on the star or planet that is already there. so its not really simulating anything

if you put a deathstar in orbit around endor in universe sandbox the mass will effect the orbit of the planet. (it's a gravity simulator)

  • @chemicalBR0

    hmm, I see...

  • already saw it awile ago you only get a free trial for 60 mins

  • Windows only. Not cool.

  • Dude you have no idea. I was so excited when I found this sight, I even had my money ready! But I have mac osx, i am extremely aggrivated...grrr

  • uuuahahhaaha i will create a death star

feel the power of the dark side

    uahahahahha

  • Eventually this will lead to the Matrix...

This is where it all starts.

    Its a slippery slope...

  • astrology is reading the future looking at stars isn't it?

  • Yes, it is. Astronomy is the study of the stars, planets and other objects in space. Astrology is the quasi-art of predicting the future based on where the planets are in the sky.

  • lol the sound at 2:50 :D

  • wait.......

    endor looks like earth, right?

  • Haha. It's astronomy, not astrology. Astronomy is an actual science and is accepted in the scientific community. Astrology is the belief that what stars you were born under have some effect on your personality and your fate. AKA a bunch of major BS.

  • astrology Is Major BS, Infact reading it is Liek wasting your life

  • Ouch, messed up there. Heh.

  • Its called Astronomy! How stupid can you be LOL

  • YESH!

  • Photosynth, meets Sentient World Simulation,Meets Universe-sandbox, Meets MojoWorld, Meets Spore, Meets Celestia Meets SecondLife...Now there's a Friggin' simulation.!!!!!!!!.

  • Are you stupid ?

  • It is, indeed, astronomy. And there is no perpetually dark side of the moon - a moon day is about 28 days. There is, however, a perpetually unseen side of the mmon from Earth, as the same side of the moon always faces the Earth. The moon's orbit around Earth is identical to it's spin on it's axis - and this fellow's sound effects are getting annoying.

  • lol yeah but people call "the dark side of the moon" the side we dont ever see it is n expression , but true there is no real dark side

  • Don't teach stuff that's not truth

    Fail

  • lol... So one half of the moon avoids pointing toward the earth AND the sun? I'm not sure bout that.

  • Astrology you mean astronomy. Astrology is horoscopes.

  • Holy that was soo amazing

  • Us beautiful ladys aren't going to keep making these videos if you continue being jerks about it.

  • LOL nice star wars noises :P

  • He keeps saying astrology... Chris, you gotta have this fixed! If we cared about astrology we would not be into Science and Technology.

  • Ouch, right at the start he said "astrology".

  • @LostOliven Well, astrology, as silly as if is, involves the stars...

Steam has this for much cheaper. I'm trying to decide if I want to get this for my old dad. He wouldn't spend a LOT of time learning something... He loves astronomy.

  • @LostOliven

Yeah, talk about an unprofessional review. Cracking up right at the beginning as well.

  • @limitlessaeon And to think that this is what they put up on their website...

  • 5:30 for you to take a gander at *hard geek voice*

  • Did he say astrology?

  • woudnt the dark side of the moon always be faced away from earth??

  • no you idiot because when its behind earth it faces the sun, DUH!

  • this looks highly entertaining

  • Their website says no mac support, even via virtualization. It works GREAT on vmware fusion. Looks pretty cool.

  • Looks very similar to Spore's space stage...

  • I have tons of astronomy open-source programs

    ALL ARE AWESOME FREEWARE APPS!!!!!!!!

  • Names?

  • Microsoft Worldwide Telescope is one.

  • Celestia is another nice one.

  • There's tons, just search & download the ones you like ;)

  • search what?

  • I have the links to some great free astronomy planetarium programs. The best one I have seen for beginners is stellarium.

  • Celestia is actually my favorite. I was so into the software that I programmed a installation package for all the setups (not just Celestia)!

  • Looks sweet. Does it have the add-on funtionality of Celestia (which is free) and are they coming out with support for other operating systems?

  • It's not astrology, It's Astronomy.

Astrology is make-believe, Astronomy is real.

  • thats what he said...astrology, the moon thinging was make-believe, and everthing in that clip was too

  • I've fooled around with that before. It's pretty cool.
