if u are already at the front you will get to any shot in the front. with the side step if they hit a cross court u will not get it and 90% of the time a good player on that shot would hit it deep
I agree with SquashGod's comments. Remember, in getting back to the T, you are watching your opponent with your head turned sideways and so a drop shot or any shot that your opponent plays shouldn't catch you off gaurd.
yeah, if your opponent hits xct or boast you are done....

Problem with your movement...Side shuffle back to the T and you leave yourself open to the cross court. You will never catch up to the ball.
