got a mate who did some farming in SA, NZ and aus. the farm he was on is (i think) aus, was 10,00 acres, which he thought was pretty big being english, but his neighbour out there had a 1,000,000 acre pad lol. takes days just to get about to some of the fields lol

If you have that much land you don't keep all your machinery in one area, you have a little here a little there that way you don't waste time driving on roads. Trust me farmers this big don't have days to be driving around going to there fields. How would they keep up with their combines, they have machinery all over, not just at one location.
