I recall that , around 1973 Margie supported Al Green on a UK tour.

What was REALLY strange was that she'd just released a cover of 'let's stay together'., which meant that,despite it being his biggest hit, he couldn't sing it

She was very good,though ( and so was Mr Green!)!
