do you have a paperback version of IT? i'd like to see the cover of that one i have seen a few with an ugly cover and i am trying to get a descent looking version :) what can i say i am a huge stephen king fan.
@martmelee Interestingly UK covers are usually more beautiful than USA covers. But IT's current US cover is pretty good with all shades of grey and black.
I noticed that you've got IT in its hardcover version, I bought the paperback of the book and it was 1041 pages long. How many pages does the hardcover have?
You have an awesome collection of books by stephen king! i remember the first i read was his first book carrie. Then salem's lot which i thought was fantastic.I didn't read the shining yet.I liked the old edition of different season,it and misery.I really liked the hardcover and paperbacks.
Hey great collection. I really enjoyed your video. I wish my paperbacks were in half as good of condition as yours. I hope to make a video soon of my collections.
I'm a huge fan of horror and suspense novels. Stephen King is my favorite though. I've read Pet Semetary, Tommy Knockers, and I'm reading Desperation right now. You guys should also check out Ray Bradbury. :D
I really would recommend reading Danse Macabre, yes it isn't your usual Stephen King book in as much as its more of an essaybut its still an interesting read. Even if you have no interest in Stephen's opinions its still worth reading for the epic amount of author's he recommends, without reading that book I never would of heard of Harlan Ellison and Richard Matheson and many, many more great authors.
Never mind my last comment, I purchased night shift children of the corn, but I do have a question, does it have the other stories in it or is it just children of the corn?
I enjoy your book videos, but I wish you would TALK about them a bit more, instead of just showing the covers. You could do, say, 4 parts instead of just 2. And what about your John Grisham video?
I want some of my S.K. books in harbound, I collected some of his books esp. the Short stories collections..but his other books like Dreamcatcher, Tommy Knocker, geralds game, Misery etc.. I dont Feel like buying them...ais Needful things worth to buy in harbound? still thinking about it!
@cbat36 Many years ago, can't even remember the names of the books. I do have Manhattan Club, Presence and Black Lightning (I think that is the name).
@BurgundysFinest have u ever read skeleton crew because i wanted to kno if it has other stories in it cause i heard that THE MONKEY is in there. true?
Wow, I thought I had a big collection. I own Misery, It, The Shining, Bag of Bones, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, Carrie, Nightmares & Dreamscapes, Skeleton Crew, Everything's Eventual, Desperation, The Green Mile, Cell, Cujo, The Regulators and Insomnia
@koryn1998 I have a first edition hardcover IT and the paperback but haven't started either of them yet lol. I love Misery, it was very powerful and got me into reading Stephen King
@moron3D because with some of my old paperbacks I would prefer to not read them to try to keep them intact as much a possible, I also like the newer formats.
@bookcollections yikes, that is no easy task, many great ones, one that is consistently a favorite among fans would be The Stand so go for that one but it may take you awhile to get through, its a big story.
I started reading Stephen King Last year I've already read at least more than ten, I'm going to Start The Dark Tower Series. I don't know if I should read Insomnia before or after the series. If you can tell me what I should do.
How many books have Stephen King writen and/or is writing? Me and my dad were just wondering!! I'm not aloud to read the books till I'm a tad bit older but I've watched almost all the movies. Scary movies!! Misery was just SICK with caps lock all the way!!!!
Started around 1989-90 ish. I received a bundle of King books from a friend of the family, had always liked IT so I figured I would read other books of his and collect what I could, just carried on from there. Sadly it's been tough finding time to read them all even after so many years.
what do you guys think about old verus new covers, im a newer reader so i get stuck with all the new cheaper covers.
i really like some of them though, and some i hate, for instance, thinner new vs old, the old one with the bloody handprint was awsome for a cover, the new one looks creeperier, but also stupider, what do you think,,,,,,,,,
Oh my God!
