While I like Di Neo, Jorn just has that extra bit of power. Di Neo has his own style, which is good. See Ilium for proof of that. But I'm so glad Masterplan got Jorn back. Too bad the guitarist was sleeping.
Mike Di Meo could be a great singer but he lacks that final little extra thing to make it perfect. That's just what Jörn has. That little extra thing that makes it all perfect. He is probably the best metal singer out there. And Di Meo shouldn't sing Jörn-songs! It just sounds stupid!

To say they massacre the old songs shows a complete lack of knowledge when it comes to music and just your general idea of tonality. Nobody is forcing you to buy the new album so thats your own choice but your close minded ideas and unwillingness to adapt will prove ultimately harmful to the world of Power Metal and hard rock.
It must be really sad to live a life where your unreasonably preconceived notions rule your opinion on different bands and musicians. Is it any surprise that a power metal super group like Masterplan would go through different musicians? Even if your a big fan of X singer or X drummer dont voice your rediculous opinions as fact and by all means please consider that theres a REASON why certain members leave a band so don't withdraw your support because it's not EXACTLY what you want.
You may like him more, but Uli is much more acomplished technically and he is the most musical drummer I've heard. He even wrote great songs for Helloween.
Good for Mike Terrana, I bet Masterplan is a good band for him to play with :) Was he Rage drummer before joining to Masterplan? I know that he was with Yngwie sometime ago which ended when Yngwie crashed his drum kit with guitar :D
I've got a cool(long)show on dvd from Vagabond, a band that featured Jorn Lande, as well as members of TNT. I'm willing to trade for Jorn or Masterplan (live)material.
Fuck! This band was inactive without Jorn! This version sucks a lot!
