did you import it because when i checked the website to what car are eligable to be imported AND registerd to the road with compliance plate it didnt say anything about the gti ??

Its a front wheel drive gti with a gti-r engine, the plate says L reg so it must be a 1994>lol

Quick update.... I sold the car a few months back stripped all the good bits off it and sold as std.
But I hear the new owner has got big plans again so he might even go one better.
Watch this space.
Got an Evo 6 now....My Sunny felt faster although this my Evo is std....For now..lol

hi mate wat gearbox did u used for the fwd and wat did it cost u for the swap and engine. am planning the same swap but in my clio 1.2 mk1 model. is this possilbe

The car is a dream, although it doesn't handle like my old 4x4 gti-r this still is nice. Doesn't really wheel spin as i have coilovers front and rear struts.
I just need big brakes first.
Then a par gearbox/with nismo lsd.
At 308bhp it drives well, and once rolling its all over

Nice, can you tell me more about the gearbox. I have a Pulsar 350 bhp and i just accept they shred all the time, is this par gearbox expensive and are you sure it'll cope?

Gr8 car m8. Jus wondern tho, Would that not b a bit unstable? 400bhp in a front wheel drive? They say it gets dangeous after 200bhp in a fwd. Wots it handle like?

hi mate it is a front wheel drive uk sunny gti with the gti-r engine, the engine is not 4x4.
Althought it has come out of a pulsar gti-r which was 4x4.
