but if you ask me who is better between BJ and U2 - there is no doubt - BJ.
I think U2 is one of the most overrated bands ever. They got an average guitarist, bassist and drummer. Richie and Tico are much better than Edge and Larry. Richie is virtuoso, Edge the hell not. Bono is very harismatic' but God... he is not a brilliant singer/ He is ok and that's all... like in case with BJ charisma is not a music skill.
I think that Richie is very talented guitarist but he got lost because of Jon/ Jon is a good showman' but average singer. He cannot rise anymore as a singer, just getting worse and worse. Listen and compare his vocal from the new and the old albums and understand. I believe that the band and Richie could reach more if Jon was a little more talented... but he is an averege... people sometimes dont see the difference between skills and nice face.
i think both bands are great in there own way butif i had to pick one it would be u2 mainly their songs speak to me more then bon jovi's songs do and u2 is more inspireing then bon jovi but bon jovi is more of a rock band than u2 so its a hard disission

u2's sound is totally new, they have created something new... what Bon Jovi have done is something like other '80s band, that's ok I think that 80s still rule... but c'mon dude you can't compare them. But to the maker of this video, it wasnt really fair, you didnt put the best music of U2 in this.... songs of the joshua tree, war and live played songs. U2 is way better live, and also in studio versions. only in the end the better songs of u2 come.

but if you ask me who is better between BJ and U2 - there is no doubt - BJ.
I think U2 is one of the most overrated bands ever. They got an average guitarist, bassist and drummer. Richie and Tico are much better than Edge and Larry. Richie is virtuoso, Edge the hell not. Bono is very harismatic' but God... he is not a brilliant singer/ He is ok and that's all... like in case with BJ charisma is not a music skill.

I think that Richie is very talented guitarist but he got lost because of Jon/ Jon is a good showman' but average singer. He cannot rise anymore as a singer, just getting worse and worse. Listen and compare his vocal from the new and the old albums and understand. I believe that the band and Richie could reach more if Jon was a little more talented... but he is an averege... people sometimes dont see the difference between skills and nice face.
