Uh, Witchcraft has NOTHING to do with animal sacrifice, same with Wicca. People often confuse satanism and Witchcraft, and it does not help that some satanists falsely call themselves "Witches". Witchcraft is the Old Religion of Europe, particularly practiced among the Saxon Witta priests. Wicca is a modern form of Witchcraft, taking ideas from it, but also some Eastern magick ideas and molding it into one.
The Wiccan Rede states, " 'An it harm none, do what thou wilt for what sent comes back Threefold." Likewise, the number one rule in Witchcraft is "be careful what you do". See how they are similar? This does not mean that Witches in the olden times committed "evil" acts, but they were simply cautious of their actions. If you abuse the Power, bad things will happen to you as a result.
In satanism, as far as I know, there are no rules of conduct.
