Yay for grilling. I was always very afraid of grilling with charcoal, but this summer I worked in the kitchen at a camp and I had to grill hot dogs once a week on a charcoal grill. I got used to it, and now I want to get a charcoal grill for home! XD

the only thing that is exclusive to meat is cholesterol.

Speak to a dietitian, you don't even need supliments. I am vegan and i'm even healthier than i was when i ate meat.

Don't hate it! Make it a memorial to your father. Do something to keep him alive. Make a scrapbook add a page every year with written and photo memories of your Daddy. You are very blessed to have had a Dad. Mine may still be alive. But, drugs n alcohol got in the way of him being a father to us. Please cherish n be grateful 4 what u had. Make it a HAPPY MEMORIAL. Normally I love this stuff. But seriously, I was disappointed that Meg went to Lowes, the corporate giant. Why wouldn't you support local hardware stores?

I appreciate the mom & pop shop support, and totally agree. In every single episode, I say if you can't recycle, buy at your local hardware store. But if you are going to shop at a big business, which a lot of people inevitably do, they should know of the corporations who are making a change. Ideally, RECYCLE & DON'T BUY, but most of this country doesn't think like that yet, so we have to encourage them to at least shop smart.

It's important to encourage the changes business are making.

My mum and I love to grill Portabella mushrooms in the summer, we scrub the tops then flip them over and give the gills a good coating of olive oil before placing them top down on the grill for a few minutes while the oil gets hot. Then flip them over and WHAM! insta flame-broiled Shroomy goodness. ^.^

It's DIY cooking, totally a good fit. Meg is encouraging us to go out and get the food and make it ourselves instead of just buying it, ordering it or whatever. She also gave cool ideas and resources of where to get vegetarian hotdogs and hamburgers which is useful and VERY eco-friendly. It's cool how threadbanger is opening all of these new doors.
