the beauty and poignancy of this fim is not just about japan or a certain war, though it does use that circumstance to make a point. the point is that their are innocent victims in wars and also tragedy like this in one form or another happening in the past and even right now. we all know what personal tragedy is and how often others don't care or understand. it's to enlighten you and make you a more aware human being to make a better world as more people become aware and empathetic...
