Thank you for your comment: so I guess it look too good to be true? Because I am not complaining or playing victim? Come on, the hip resurfacing has given me back my LIFE, otherwise I'd be in a wheelchair. So how could I not tell the whole world about it! Since then, instead of limping around, I have learned to dance Salsa, have been on long hikes and climbs, travelled to Burning Man - all of which I couldn't have done without my new hips. So yeakh, life i a Hollywood commercial.
You are right, I am the one on the clkip, and I wouldn't suggest pushing beyond your abilities. What's needed for anyone going through surgery is careful progressive rehab based, taking into account what you were able to do before surgery as well. Good luck!
Caveat -- great procedure; recommend it highly, but mileage will vary. I couldn't do this at two months. After spending my whole life on hiking trails (how the hip got messed up, I guess) and two years deteriorating and waiting for a correct diagnosis and then surger, it has taken exactly that long to get back on a hiking trail. DO NOT PUSH YOURSELF beyond what you feel your limits to be. We are not all the same.
