Through their portrayal, you could see the strength, the incredible fire and passion, and great love the two characters had for each other.
Jim Davis was such a great actor to play the no-nonsense patriarch Jock Ewing. Everytime he´s in scene he steals It was without any doubt only Jim Davis character who could equil Larry Hagmans JR. Same goes for the great late Barbara Bel Geddes Miss Ellie. Truly great!!
They were and still are, tv royalty. Even though they let JR get away with anything he wanted and never clipped his wings. I still love Jock and Miss Ellie.
