I was here tonight, but I wasn't at Luna Park last night. Such a good concert, the first one I saw from Nine Inch Nails and definitely not the last. Does any one else who was there, remember the set list? I have a pretty good idea but I would like to be sure.
Music isn't even worth buying at high prices, unless you're using it for a commercial or something. For personal use, it should be cheaper. I get music for $1/cd, google "mp3fiesta." (Not endorsing them, they're just better than fucking $1/song.)
I have to agree with Reznor on the fact that CDs are overpriced. It doesn't cost very much to make a CD. Usually, most of the price comes from the packaging. In this day and age, I would think that a lot of musicians would need a side job since a lot of people download music which means the artist/band doesn't get paid, and they have to live as well, and unfortunately, living isn't free.
Man... As time goes on, I become a bigger and bigger NIN fan/advocate. NIN is already my personal favorite. But with the momentum they got right now with all the live shows and new CDs being released and great fan support like shown here at this show ... man, it just keeps getting better.
Trent knows people steal what's over priced. He's telling them he doesn't care if it makes a point. He's not in it for the money he's in it for the fun of making music. Keep doing what ya do Trent.

I reccomend starting with "With Teeth" its the worst album he's ever done, but still good enough to kick the living shit out of almost anything else in industry existence and it will kick your ass!!! ....then i bought it over iTunes for only $12 compared to $37 retail... wouldve been nice to have the jewel case, artwork, case.etc.. but my loss i suppose.. i miss out on $1.80's worth of packaging because of the $25+ premium *angry face*
