Betty, nice job in the video. Why are you counting calories...seriously. Rick that chicken turnd out very nice and the vidoe was very helpful but more info would be good too. Basting? How often? Temp settings? I see you used foil? By the way, my wife loves your kitchen. Thanks again folks.
This is so helpful!! I wanted to make the engagement chicken recipe -- we're already engaged, so I'm just trying to speed things up :) -- but was completely intimidated by the directions "remove the giblets from the inside of the chicken" and "clean the chicken". Now, I'm going to go full force!! Thank you so much, Betty and Rick!!
The only thing not good on a grill is a donut. Have you ever done pizza on the grill Betty? I really like it but it is pizza afterall so what's not to like. Thankfully when I move late fall this year I will be living in a house and it's grill time even in winter. ha ha ha
@KissHope I have never thought of having pizza on the grill, but I'm sure that would be good! I'm sure you're looking forward to having a grill after you move!
Thank you very much. This was very entertaining and informative. Its the night before Thanksgiving and I'm looking for something to contribute to a collective dinner feast and this is the perfect recipe. And it only takes a few hours, whereas a turkey can take the whole day. Thanks Again.
that 's funny how US chicken are wrapped ( plus the things inside it ) ! in France we don't do that, but thanks for the video, i did buy a whole chicken today :)
I LOVE CHICKEN! And I'm absolutely thrilled that you posted this up on my birthday lol Now I feel special but it would be better if I could get a little bit.
The rotisserie chicken looks delicious and so tender and juicy. Great job! Your husband does a great job grilling foods and filming your videos. He deserves a thumbs up and so do you! :)
Hey Betty that looked so good and i am going to try it defiantly. Did you know if you cook the giblets just like the chicken it tastes really good. You just caramelize it on the grill with barbecue sauce and its good to snack on. Talk to you later.
@heroteen16 I have a recipe for brownies and also one for brownie pudding. Just search for blue ribbon brownies in bettyskitchen. Thanks for your sweet comment!
you could make gravy with the giblets

That's a strange contraption, not a grill.

@101Traveler1 I like to stay slim, so I do try to watch my calories. Rick basted the chicken every 5 minutes or so. Thanks for your lovely comment!

I was thinking maybe once you could show your kids and maybe make like cookies or something,Course it depends on their age,but it's your decision.
