I have a rescue Collie...He's the Best Dog in the World (well, I would say that)

This breaks my heart, Fancy looks just like my puppy.

My puppy's name was Maggie, She was a Black Lab/ German Shepard mix.

She was the smartest dog I knew, but she died from a car accident at 6 months old!

LOL, Fancy the wonder dog. I am very glad some one took the time to care about a dog down on their luck. Look what a happy dog she is. I walk dogs at our local shelter on Saturdays and recently I took a dog named Julie out for a walk. I made it 150 yards before I noticed she was limping and I stopped to take the stickers out of her foot but she was missing the whole leg. So i sponsored her ($20/month) and she got adopted before I had to put up another $20.

And that is the truth! :) She went far beyond that expectations...its just so sad she cannot work at her favorite job here in the UK anymore: As a Service Dog. They are not recognized here, so she is indefinitely retired. But! Doesn't stop her from being the best dog on earth :D

That is possible the beautiful border collies I've seen! My border collie had a close call of loosing her leg. It was caught in a fox trap, she's a lucky one. :)

Exactly - Three legs dont do a darn thing to a dog's mobility (for the most bit), and they live just as happy, if not happier than before. Thanks for the comments :)

We had a cat who at 5 had to have a leg removed [or we could have had her put to sleep] she lived a very happy further 16 years passing away peacefully [two months after her twin sister], both at the age of 21.

I just wanted to say I loved your video your sassy looks almost exactly as our charlie. I am so glad that she was saved. They are such loving and happy dogs. I had to show this video to my son and husband and sent it to some friends. You both are blessed to have one another. I got all choked up. Love your dog!

the 4 out of thousands of minutes spent on the comp i wasted on this video, were wasted wonderfully, this is soo hearwarming, i knew someone who's dog was three legged and she was adorable, and so playful, i'd say the owner was the lucky one, not the dog, even though you did save her. But now you have another or a dog in your family who's well taken care of and i know she must love ya.

Her puppies all found homes through the rescue I got Fancy from. I am in contact with three of the puppy owners. THEY'RE SO BIG NOW!!!

Congrats on getting such a wonderful dog, and doing it by thinking "outside the box" She is just gorgeous. To all of you looking for a dog, I say, "ADOPT! That is where all the BEST dogs are" A rescue dog never forgets the favors done, and the lucky chance for a good life given. They are loyal and loving from the very beginning to the absolute end. Do you know for sure that Fancy is a purebred BC? She looks so much like my BC/probably lab cross, except Chloe has a collie tail and a blue eye. They both have the merle "points" on feet and chest. There is so much variety in BCs that I sometimes wonder if Chloe is actually just an odd purebred, but I have no way of knowing.

Fancy has lifted my spirits. It is nice to know that there are dogs like her in the world and that there are people like you to care for them. Fancy has obviously had a lot of pain in her life, but she sure appears to be making up for it now. Yaaay Fancy!!!
