@m4xx0ut Shad follow the main river channel when they're on the move and they tend to stage (or rest) in eddies along the seam of the current. They tend to travel close to the bottom so you'll need to get your spoons or darts down in their way. The most effective way to do this is with downriggers. You can also use Big Jon diver disks to get down in the water column. I like to be about a foot or two off the bottom.

cool video what do you recommend for a beginner ? always see shad when i fish the delaware river but can never get them to strike my bait
