i know disabled people at UT who do not have the hard time you do to get around. there are plenty or ramps that are not steep and that are safe, you just chose not to show them. this video should be off youtube.
As a disabled person currently going to UT, I don't think it's nearly as bad as you portray. I have a class at Plant Hall, and I park right behind an elevator. The ramp to it is bilevel, so it's not at a steep incline. The door to the elevator is always open, and it's pretty huge. You have to remember that it's an old campus. The roughest part is the cobblestones. UT is nowhere near as unaccessible as some campuses I went to. (Uf, UCF, FSU, USF) owing a lot to its smaller size & dearth of hills.
just to clarify, I am all for the idea of correcting certain areas that need fixing. Problems should be addressed but there is NO NEED to slander the school over the internet for the world to view. Meet with the Dean of Students or the person who deals with 'Student with Disabilities', the same person stated ALL the course syllabi.
Ok, I go to UT & altho I sympathize with the difficulties handicaps may face day to day; things pointed out in this video have been OVER EXAGERRATED!! Some of the ramps u point out that don't hav adjacent ramps to cross the road is bcuz that is NOT a designated crossing area. Two of the examples you showed had a crossing area with adjacent ramps not even 5 feet away!! why didnt u show those on the video. Also that door with no handle is an EXIT ONLY door. the entrance is right beside it!
Hey Andrew! It's Alex and Mollie...awsome video. Thanks to you, Mollie had to get new wheels. Her professor saw the video and is going to email it to important people at UT. Oh and by the way, we deserve some credit or some of your profits. haha where are you these days?
Very nicely done. I used to bring my physically ahndicapped friend to my college campus in RI and it was SO annoying to try and get him places...what would take me 5 minutes to get somewhere would take me almost an hour when I bring my friend along. Thank you so much for pointing out those kind of flaws.
Historical building. Not much they can do about it. The newer buildings have as much access for handicapped people as they do for non-handicapped. Card access is available to students.
At TampaU they ought to provide financial assistance to you and those in need, not support inferior monsters of thought, stupid liberal parasites and Islamo facsist terrorists. They use YOUR money from Tuition fees to other purposes other than benefits to humans.BASTARDS
I do not have any disability as it is known- emphasizing that most of disabilities cannot be seen but heavily felt. I'm so angry with the disdain people treat these things. They are inhuman. But money to clubs at TampaU, clibs of hatred against jews and negros, in support of islamo terrorists, they have a lot.
I'm a quadraplegia, this is so true,i'm so pissed off at places like this.I can't even push on cobblestone. The public needs to be taught about disability...thanks,i'll spread this video everywhere.

please just learn how to use a wheel chair...
it's not that hard... steep ramps = wheel backwards
for the crack on the first clips just pop urself back alittle
go threw doors just push urself threw not using hands or feet
your only explaining the dilemmas that beginners face is all...
