Some native Asian nowadays are mistaken with Latino such as Vietnamese or Filipinos. I still remembered when I first asked my Spanish 1 teacher if I was in the right room in the beginning of school year, she replied "Yes, You Are" . Then she talked to me in high level Spanish, which made me look stupid because of my unawareness of Spanish language. There was one of the female students who even asked me if I was Hispanic.
