Dang, hard to believe it's been over 30 years since I saw him with Muddy Waters in Olympia, WA.

@nyteschade I had the good fortune to see them with Muddy in Ottawa in 1979. John Lee Hooker opened. I was 21 and enjoyed although I wasn't as into the blues a I am now, I really enjoyed it, If I had a "go back in time wish" that is a show I would really love to go back and sit thru again. At least I was able to see Pinetop and Willie a couple of times after with the Legendary Blues Band. RIP Muddy, Pinetop, Willie and a whole lot of other blues greats...

Saddened by the announcement today of Pinetop's death. What a great asset he was to the world of music.
