@digitaldud According to Lenspoint (which do the most "standardized" lenstests IMHO) Oly 45mm offers slightly better center sharpness, and much better corner to corner sharpness at all apertures than the 20mm. Especially wide open it is the better lens.

I have both and can confirm that optically the Oly is the better lens. Depends on your shooting habits... 40mm vs 90mm... Standard vs. Portrait..

There are no DEEP tests - that's why I watched this vid over and over again. And that's why I was so disappointed not to get any real informations. But, yeah, this channel is big fun!

Hi, DigitalRevTV. I know i will be probably speaking to myself, but lets make a try.

I really enjoy those reviews, they're pretty funny and even informative, but sinoperture is right. Kai should take more beautiful pictures, and every picture should show a 100% crop of the center and of one of the corners (e.g. put the center crop on the top right corner and the corner crop on the bottom right). I guess the touch that makes we come back to see more videos is also humor, so continue that. Thanks

Alright, lets see what would a good micro four third system will cost me. Olympus EP3 with kit lens - $900. Olympus 45mm f1.8 - $400. Panasonic 20mm f1.7 - $350. Altogether, $1650. Hmm... is it worth it? Or should I consider Fuji X100 and try to live with only one focal length. There's also Sony Nex 5n which is cheaper, but a bit bigger with lens.

I want something i can carry around all the time. t2i will definitely be an excellent choice for value + IQ, but what's the point if it stays home most of the time. That's why I was debating between EP3 vs. X100. If I can save up some extra money, I might get a fuji x100 and then a DSLR later on.

@ThatGuyyyyy you may want to see the image quailty of fuji X10 when it comes out, it has zoom and fast f1.8-f2 lens. I am shooting with d90 right now, I may get that as a 2nd camera. x10 about half the price of x100. more flexiable

Despite being very nice, Fuji's X-series cameras are ludicrously overpriced. The X10 is rumoured to cost around €500-600. For that price you could get something like a GF1 body, 20mm f/1.7 and something else like the kit lens. The image quality would be vastly superior, and you have the flexibility of interchangeable lenses.
