@macksun I believe the term you're looking for is lip-syncing The singers lips sychnonizing to the pre-recorded audio. American TV made the acts lipsync the lyrics after the Rolling Stones pissed off promoter Ed Sullivan. Mick Jagger promised to sing "Let's spend some time together"....but when the show went 'Live', Mick ssang the original lyric "Let's spend the night together". . . . a taboo of the 60's censors. This peice is lipsynced

Simon does his best frontman performance in this video. Musically, this is the best tune from Duran Duran. It was an odd scene. People in their 60's-80's watching 25 yr olds play in 1985. But the old codgers liked it.

I remember watching this with my parents who both loved Bob Hope and FREAKED out when they saw that Duran Duran were performing. I was tickled that they got a standing ovation, and loved watching them bow from the waist (I still crack up at that for some reason). I never realized that Roger pinches John...too funny!
