Star WR Greg Salas is a junior and if he returns, hell join talented WRs Kealoha Pilares, Jovonte Taylor, Billy Ray Stutzman, Rodney Bradley, and Malcolm Lane who will be back in 2010 after missing the 2009 season because of academic issues. The defense will have a year of experience under its belt, especially the secondary who started the season with no returning starters. 2010 may not be too bad at all.
That being said, Fresno State returns A LOT of talent on both sides of the ball. They lose senior WR Seyi Ajirotutu who provided a big 63 target for QB Ryan Colurn and talented RB Lonyae Miller, however, the Bulldogs return their starting QB and their back up QB Derek Carr (brother of legendary Fresno QB David Carr), their star RB Ryan Matthews, and most of their defense. With the quality of returning players Fresno should be a force in 2010.

dude almost all the players from hawaii are in the mainland..true UH sucks,but dont think hawaii aint got talent...as for me im going to fresno i think their the most physical team ive ever seen.thats what got me to go...i wanna be with the best..hawaii and fresno got a huge rivalry,if it wasnt for those games it would just be plain boaring..and no one would pay attention....much respect for both teams..

And i'm sorry Pat Hill doesn't throw every down so maybe that's why we dont get 400 yards of passing every game. Hawaii has yet to get on fresno state's level. First off, the Warriors only added 3 points to the "record" of highest amount of points allowed in Bulldog Stadium - big freakin' deal. The Bulldogs beat the Warriors by 56 points, the Warriors only beat the Bulldogs by 31 points. I would have to say by comparison, the Fresno State defense wasn't as bad as Hawaii's from 04. But whatever, you can have your fantasies, rub shit in their faces but the Bulldogs will be the better team most years.
