hard this is begginers work and here it doesn't fall (the building) witch it would do

sorry to say but i found this one poor.

next time don't do it all over a thousand times and do it longer (japanese do short movies and you are a American (or not)) and try making it more realistic (bracing glass and building falling down)

than i will rate higher

At this rate, it is not realistic. If both the front and back of the building were torn off, it would collapse because of its heaviness on the top.

yes when i crashed into a glass block my car paused for a second before causing the damage

could be there are two many polygons. If theres too many objects with physics applied to them, Maya will slow down

also you could tamper around with my mel script and have the car come at the building at a greater speed.

it could also be the car needs to be sped up. This was one of my first MEL scripts. I would advise you to speed up the car by editing my MEL script.

its basic - but it works - if you wish to do damage to the car just edit the textures or use another method. For glass you could use the maya shatter option. This is a basic crash simulator. MOST of the work has been done for you...

I DID!!!!!!!!! it ruled , too. and besides, what i mean is that its a horrible simulator. it just went straight through the building. the top of the building didn't even fall down, the car showed no damage. STOOPUD.

Fair enough. Though I would add that this is a video of the unfinished simulator. The one I handed in as coursework had:

a) User Interface - Choice of cars, buildings, etc

b) Gravity

c) Options for what area of the building you wanted breakable...
