Beautiful pups !. Our Jack Russell (he's 7 years old now - we adopted him from a rescue centre 4 years ago), is called "Mr Blue Sky" - because my daughter loves ELO & the song "Mr Blue Sky" !. My only problem with our Jack Russell is running out of remote controls, socks, and telephone cables !, I mean , just how much damage can such a small dog do ?. Apart from that, we love him very much.

@kawaiikitty9 I'm sorry to hear about that puppy :( Those last few weeks with the mother are so crucial to a puppy's social development, because that's when the mother and siblings teach the pup it's manners. I'm glad that your puppy stayed with it's mom for the proper amount of time, and I hope she's bringing you much joy. :)

Yeah well tail docking is illegal where I live and I think everyone has the right to voice something if they think it's wrong.

Dog's use their tails to communicate their emotions - not right to cut them off so they can be up to 'breed standard'.

their tails are docked because they are working dogs. You need to be able to pull them out of a rabbit or fox hole by the tail. They won't let the pray go. The tail has to be docked so it won't break.

So cute but why dock their tails, Jacks look so much better with a long waggy tail, I have 2 JRT's both with docked tails, Chaz was a rescue dog but we bought Tiggs from a breeder 4 years ago, at the time we contacted many breeders trying to find a litter that had'nt been docked but with no luck, it's a real shame that we feel the need to mutilate these beautiful puppies, what does everyone else think about this subject?
