im outa work so i have no money but when i meet a man on the street askin for change u can bet ill give him a few cigs or a drink from my flask, any one could end up in that situation Any One
Tremendous video, touching and poignant, superb driving music. I always think that it is people like this guy who are the back-bone of a country, they work hard, never complain and when they fall on hard times never shout about how life is unfair. It is unfair and this is a timely reminder that we should bear that in mind next time we see a homeless person, and not simply walk past. Instant fav. and 5*
This is the best I have ever seen of combining music, poetry, video and social commmentary. #1.
As for society, this is what you get in a John Wayne World, where children are taught to glorify the strong and despise the weak. Hero worship. Losers be damned.
And the hardest thing i saw when i was on the streets was the family's together living loving and being loved loneliness is a horrible thing but you get used to it and accept that this is your lot its not that bad it just hurts sometimes especially when you look and see there happy faces and think to youself i wish i wish i could be like them
I lived on the streets for 14 years i hear what this man says and i do not pity him he deserves not your pity but your love and respect neither of which you get when you hit rock bottom only from fellows in the same boat you people walk by in disgust without knowing why you do you just do i was able to help my self out of the rut others are not that fortunate to do so
It is not a problem as you put it.! It is society's way off saying be a slave all your life to the system, if not we will throw you away like a empty can or piece of rubbish, if you don't fit in the mold you aint shit.
I really like this, and especially the interview, along with the song. I think most people just view the homeless as leeches, and forget there's something really human and raw inside, and perhaps there is more of that in the homeless that can be found in other people.
Very effective video, and brilliant writing. Keep fighting for the cause!

Thoughtful and thought provoking piece. Worth the care you have clearly put into making it. "You walk by as if you're not even here"
