  • what makes a great fighter? its his opponent thats makes him a great fighter.

  • Erok ft Revelation. Dat good fight rapzilla

  • ali bumaye¡¡¡¡¡ ali matara a george foreman

  • Norton very ali

  • Isn't it interesting how different styles make fights?

In my opinion, no way would Larry Holmes ever have beaten Foreman when both were in their primes, yet, Ali had the savvy to tie George up and make him look silly. . Norton gave Ali fits, and George crushed him like a roach. Same with Frazier. George would have creamed Holmes, who would have given Ali trouble even with the latter was in his prime.

  • As a true boxing fan, I also see Don King as an asset/disgrace to boxing. In the golden era, you couldn't be famous unless you went through the crook named Don King. He would make you a superstar over night and take all your money at the same time, but we wouldn't have Ali and Foreman and Frazier if it wasn't for that "Wretched reptillion mother fucker" as mike tyson calls him.

  • I love boxing, even now I still love boxing even though people jump on the hate bandwagon. A real boxing fan still finds fun in the match, even when the fighters aren't as good as Ali. Back than, you had lighter gloves, harder hitters, and tough fighters. Now days, Heavier gloves, softer hitters, and boxers not as tough.

  • Boxing style was abit different back then dont u think?, They seem to just be sllugging eachother with not much skill as they use in todays boxing?

  • @MrKon14 That's because they were tough. Now days, it's all about conditioning and being able to last the length of the fight. Back than, it was "Im gonna knock you out, or your gonna knock me out, but one of us isn't leaving this ring standing today." And that's what seperates the golden era from todays era.

  • quickest handspeed of any heavyweight boxer. It's like Sugar Ray Robinson about fifty pounds heavier.

  • i have been fighting with my brother, we were big fights boxers in history, including some over foreman, and watching the mach i told my brother foreman seems drugged, and coincidence of life i am reading a book foreman an says that he drugged in that fight and i believe it is not the same he had seen in other videos

  • ta buena quein gano ajaja

  • D greatest fight of all time hands down as far as d best jab n boxing b fa real u can't b serious r just plan ignorant

  • noticeh how ali punches and clinches right away. very similar to mayweather?? very good strategy.

  • I posted that about the jabs 5 months ago. I had an arguement with a friend about who had the best jab in boxing, My friend says De La Hoya. I agreed his jab was decent, but was nothing to Alis. Here I am, 5 months later, pointing them out to another person who was astonished at this mans speed. Ali is the greatest for a reason.

  • who is ali?

  • id like to see mayweather cheapshot ali and see what happens

  • What happened to commentators like this ?

  • he must have one of the fastest hands if not the fastest in all of boxing ever...

  • wow, i think ali woulda bust up tyson.. SPEED KILLS

  • man i kant even see them shits *ali punches*

  • Ali "the greatest" ? how? by pulling on sumones neck down and one two jab and grab....dats being a cheater, and was scared to death with foreman. he played it smart but he is not the greatest. Ali freaking sucks compared to alot of boxers of all time. anyone can prove me wrong. compare Ali with Mayweather same crap. they both cry babys and cant fight worth a damn! just by grabbing the opponent. and pressing the neck down and doing wrestling moves on them. ha

  • @labombina3 Comparing him to mayweather? Are you kidding? How many fighters did Ali duck compared to Mayweather? He took on Liston (twice), Patterson, Frazier (3 times), Foreman (2 times), Shavers, Norton, pretty much everyone worth a damn. How many *worthy* opponents has Mayweather taken on? I can't even think of any.

Say what you want of his skills, you have a right to your opinion. But you can't really call a man a coward/crybaby if he took on Foreman (who was feared as much as Tyson was).

  • @labombina3 he would easily whope your ass lol

  • so skinny compared to heavyweights now

  • Can anyone tell me why boxers hang onto each other? I've recently become interested in boxing but I still don't understand that

  • @GeRmAnBoMbErBoY Defence, to control the fight not get hit. : )

  • @GeRmAnBoMbErBoY it could be a number of reasons but the best one I can think of is because once they get so close to each other the first person to back away is more at risk for getting hit so they stay together until the ref breaks them up because it's a few seconds where they aren't allowed to hit each other

  • el boxeo antiguo, era todo maletines.. ignorantes.

  • Cus Damato was the one who told Ali to use right hand leads.

  • mohammed ali alis kassius clein was a defensive boxer...but a great champion..in this match it was close to italian soccer style , defense and couterattack, and in the end the victory!!!:PPPP

  • mohammed ali alis kassius clein was a defensive boxer...but a great champion

  • ALI KEEP POPPIN THE FUCK OUTTA THAT NIGGA. !!!!

  • if his challnger was tyson ali go down

  • @KINGNICOLA1 You're a silly boy.

  • Some facts. It was 115 degrees in the ring during this fight, Thats hard to go 7 rounds in 115+ ring, let alone go 1 or 2. Both of these 2 were bad dudes, And in a rematch maybe George Foreman would've pounded Ali out, but he didn't. And he went on to beat Frazier again. He's the greatest and thats all, The circumstances are where they lay, No what if's or Buts or if he did blah blah, He's just that good

  • George Foreman had no chance of losing this fight on paper. He was supposedly invincible at that time. He was no doubt an amazing fighter. But the very fact that an old Ali was able to defeat him using whatever he had, shows how amazing Ali was. To be able to defeat THAT Foreman at his age doesnt mean Foreman was subpar, it shows Ali was truly the greatest.

  • Hard to believe a guy pushing 33 took out the powerful 24 year old Foreman. Both were great fighters. I've always felt this was one of the very best fights of all time. So few fights come down to this level of strategy and dogged determination.

Ali found out in round one that he just couldn't keep up with Foreman in that heat. He tested Foreman's punching power, and decided to try and let the guy punch himself out on his arms and body over time. Then the wily old man sprang to life.

  • I remember seeing an older Foreman after he retired on a talk show, I think it was Letterman, talking about the fight. He said he had Ali up on the ropes throwing punches and Ali asked him, "Is that all you got?" And Foreman said, "Yeah." :-)

  • is this the heavyweight fight with the highest level of combined talent? I mean think of the talent you need to win the heavyweight crown at 45. george foreman is just a tremendous natural talent. And he loses. Both these guys are just so big and so good.

  • i have never seen so much support for a boxer by the fans, but there was only one ali.

  • George Foreman was one of the hardest punchers to ever lace up the gloves. Ali won the fight but at what cost to his long term health.

  • In the documentary, it was like 115 degrees in the ring. Imagine moving like Ali for 7 rounds in 115 degree heat and trying to fight off george foreman lol smooth

  • foreman fought bad in this one.he was full of anger, ali in the other hand was calm and waited for him to go tired.then he started playin' bad.

  • Interesting that Ali seemed to do better against taller men like Liston, Foreman, Terrell, etc.

  • I love Ali but I'm not sure the headlocks he put Foreman in were 'legal' in the first minute of this fight lol.

  • @Amir883 Hahaha, maaan who are you telling? Ali was the Ty Cobb of boxing. He'd throw dirt in your face if there were some in the ring. But man, he'd still do it pretty and you wouldn't even know what happen!

  • @SigfridKargElert "Ty Cobb"? This racist dirty son bitch! You would not have even heard of him. If Baseball was open to all people at the time.

  • @ramrod20042000 i think he is talking about the boxer ty cobb. lol cobb was a racist bastard

  • At 5:20 was unbelievable.. ok foreman was stronger but ali is the gratest boxer.. look his FUCKING JABS!!!!!!!!!

  • George Foreman was the most dominant heavyweight in the 70's. Ali actually lost more fights than him. Foreman killed guys who went the distance or even beat Ali (Joe Frazier and Ken Norton). George slaughtered those guys within 2 rounds. Yes Ali worked George well here but keep in mind the fight was in Africa and went off like 3 in the morning. I know Ali had to deal with it too but this wasn't The Mirage in Las Vegas. And Foreman won the title again at 40! puts him right there w/ali imo

  • @aitraining Ali schooled him like a novice, he made it look easy! GF only beat a shopworn Frazier, who wasn't half the fighter who faced Ali(and was actually ill w/a kidney ailment!) and Norton, who only had notoriety at the time bcz he beat an under-trained Ali. Norton had a tremendous phsique, but feasted on tomato cans b4 he faced Ali. Same w/George, he only beat tomato cans b4 Frazier. His 2nd reign was more impressive due to his age, but he was never "right there w/Ali".

  • @aitraining Ali did not have more losses than Foreman.

  • @aitraining If Ali had of had the opportunity to fight Foreman during the late sixties instead of being unfairly banned from the sport for refusing to go to Vietnam that would certainly have stacked the odds in Ali's favour. When comparing Foreman to Ali a lot of the statistics don't tell the whole truth.

  • @aitraining thats a cool story bro, deep inside you know ali outthinked foreman idk if that is a word or not sorry for my english, but boxing isnt just about knocking out ppl in 2 rounds but being smart, and sorry to say it but in this fight had nothing to do with the heat or africa so idk wtf u are talking about ali was just to smart for curious george here, not all about power. learn that

  • Ali is the greatest boxer of ALL times! Eff wat ya talking about!!!......

  • At 4:23, those are the best 3 jabs i've ever seen. That 3rd one was so fuckin fast it was unbelievable lol

  • @RandomLevitation i thought you were talking about foreman's jabs, then i thought those aren't fast. but then i realized ali was jabbing, but they were so fast that even i didn't see them.

  • @brandeezy108 I know! They snapped so fast they literally breezed past foremans directly to his face. Beautiful

  • @RandomLevitation Ken Norton always said that Ali had a tendency to flex his chest slightly just before throwing a jab and that's how he was able to avoid so many of them (as we're all aware that Ali was never really quite able to beat Norton very convincingly). But, I don't see how anyone...ANYONE could possibly have seen those jabs at 4:23 coming. Not even Superman (as DC Comics explored and proved).

  • @RandomLevitation I read somewhere that Alis jab was clocked at 95km per hour, which is equal to about 58 miles per hour. The amazing thing is that in this fight he was already somewhat over the hill. Who would have believed that if they hadn't seen the Ali of the 60's

  • @RandomLevitation Those are seriously amazing jabs.

  • @RandomLevitation I know. His coach said he was a "Supernatural" man

  • forman is strong but ali is clever

  • the person talking is in favor of ali lol

  • who in the world would not like this!!!

  • epic

  • The announcer is totally slighted to Ali. its anoying.

  • @racebends -and what about the crowd? Ali lands with a touch and they go practically nuts. Butwhat the hell----this was Ali's nite, he just plain outsmarted George

  • MAGNIFICO ALI

  • GO CASSIUS!!!

  • Ali's the greatest boxer ever. Plain and simple.

  • Toda tu vida has escuchado hablar de mi, el campeon, hoy te enfrentas a mi tu maestro.

  • @enoskul02 so you think pac man would lose against mayweather?

  • @chuneya951 maybe .maybe not they are both good fighters

  • frazier did the damage in they're last fight, im saying sit down and watch it.. not movies.. either a documentary or the real fight

  • george forman was greatest boxer of all time with muhammed ali they were master sports.Irespect george forman,

  • lol this aint wrestling Ali; headlock at 1:25.

  • Really brutal fight. Foreman was probably the main reason Ali got Parkinsons.

  • @Carnage1235 well that shows you dont know shit, go watch the thriller in manila

  • @dayze1111

No no, seriously. This was a brutal fight. If you're gonna be an asshole about it then your opinion means nothing to me. Watch the movie "Ali" if you want some in depth looks on how badly Ali actually was battered.

It's Ali I'm rooting for of course, but Foreman did genuinely do a number on Ali in this fight.

  • Tyson would knock Ali down in the first round. Ali won his fights by keeping away from his opponents for an extended period (due to his reach) and getting 3-4 punches in every round when his opponent was open. Tyson negates all this as he charges into his opponents and throws down 2-3 good punches every time he gets in, and there's no way Ali could survive more than 2 Tyson combos. For all Ali's talk and dance, he was quite an ordinary fighter, just had a larger than life persona.

  • @aj7689 buyt of course tyson would have to catch him first, right? ali was a much smarter fighter. he would;'ve used his reach and footwork against tyson. he would've frustrated him. holyfield, buster, and lennox all gave tyson trouble with reach.

  • @roscoegino Seen Frazier vs Ali? Frazier was similar in size and reach to Tyson, but was much slower and not as strong as Tyson was in the mid-late 80s. Yet Frazier went the distance and gave Ali quite a run for his money, even in Ali vs Frazier 2. Tyson would've knocked Ali out clean, he was a speedy, heavy trainwreck in the mid-late 80s aiming for an opponent's head. Take away the dance and the trash talk and Ali is an ordinary fighter. Buster,Holyfield,Lennox never fought Tyson in his prime.

  • @aj7689 Ali fought better fighters in his prime than Tyson did in his -- and that's a fact. He fought better fighters more frequently than Louis or Marciano. And Tyson fought Buster in his prime and Buster beat him like an African drum. Ali was all talk and dance and ordinary? Step into the ring with him in his prime.

  • @roscoegino Tyson didn't fight Buster in his 'prime'. He fought Buster in 1990, 2 years after he (or rather Don King) fired Kevin Rooney and let loose. Even if Ali fought 'better' fighters in his prime, 'better' is relative to the era. Boxing wasn't as developed until Tyson arrived, because he combined speed, power and endurance all in one for the first time in history, and forced the sport to change. Pacquaio today is the same package, and that's why he's the best as well.

  • @roscoegino As for me taking on Ali, I'm a 5'10 170 lbs middleweight. I'd do well against Mayweather, but Pacquaio would knock me out.

  • @aj7689 Mayweather is a coward, He's gonna wait til Pac gets old to call him out.

  • @aj7689 fuck you ali would batter him. he bounces to annoy opponents and tire them so he can move in and finish it off

  • @naicheervan96 no fuck you moron, you probably don't know shit about boxing and fighting in general. there's no way in hell ali could've beaten tyson, maybe at trash talking yes, but in the ring? no.

  • @aj7689 ye ye keep talkin . theres a fukin interview mike and ali together and even tyson admits that he won't beat ali as ali dances, fast and strong but yet himself being fast strong but not strong enough as he says that ali got hit on by people stronger than himslef. Muhammed Ali and Mike Tyson on same talk show - P1 (rare)

type that on youtube and see for yourself as tyson tells ali that he can't beat him.

  • @naicheervan96 i saw that interview years ago kid, tyson's just showing ali respect because he was senior to him in the sport and age.

  • @aj7689 plus just an extra tyson got beat by Don and Ali won Don and Tyson didn't really fight legends of boxing. His arms are too short aswell he'll never reach ali and if he tries goin in ali just bounces and evades

  • the best mike tyson

  • @sergio7187 hell no.

  • Tyson is more than just a slugger. He'd hardly take a punch in the head when he moved in because of his great head movement and short stature.

  • Ali played like a wuzz, huging after each combo Foreman threw out because he couldn't get the distance he wants. A huge sign of weakness.

  • @clorix LoL. if ur were in front of that tank ur self, u wouldnt even have the balls to do a combo u, u would just clinch

  • @clorix

Big words to say about a man who could kill you in 1 good punch.

  • They really hug to much. Its lame and shows that they actually are weak, yes weak.

  • I think Ali kept whispering in foreman's ears. Wonder what he was saying

  • @Madhofd "They told me you could punch george..."

"George! you aint hitting hard enough!" :D

  • @SUPERKAIOKENX10 And this one: "Is that ALL you got!?!?!?"

    ;-D

  • @arniemazmaz hell no thats not true. why is it so hard for people to accept the fact that ali is the greatest and foreman was an untalented walking robot who ali knew was going to be a walk in the park. lets remember that this fight went 8 rounds because ali allowed it. and if he was drugged or drink was spiked, dont you think foreman would have said something about it by now?

  • wow, u got great quality in this video, nice one!

  • Is there any truth in rumour that ali's camp drugged foreman's drink before he went in....if you look at foreman at the end of round one he looks dazed and confused?

  • Ali was is greatest boxer ever lived in my opinion. He boxed like a game of chess. Just knew how to pick his shots, and move away from the hard hitting blows. He also has a REALLY strong chin.

  • Brother Mohammad,at 61 years old i still box and every thing i achieved in my life was,is and will be because of you.I always said it to my self "If Ali can do it i can do it too"

Hopefully we both leave bit longer so i can come to meet you and kiss you hand and say "Ali,Ali,thank you for being my hero all my life "

  • n01 the ring was built on mud

thats why ali stayed on the ropes and didnt dance

n02 ali trained the hardest he ever did after his comeback

n03this ali would have been a champion untill the 1980s

n04this was the best ali since the layoff

even better than manilla look at his body

  • Perfect example of speed vs. power ... What a Fight!

  • foreman tried in the early rounds to knock ali out by trowing wide punches instead he was doing himself bad by waisting his energy. and ali on the other side was fighting smart untill he knock foreman out. ali smart fighter ever

  • match truccato, Foreman combatteva drogato

  • BLACK POWER!!! :D

  • I can see the frusterations of foreman, Ali talking all this shit in his ear and scoring with quick but weak lead rights all night. Then the crowd is chanting ALI KILL HIM "in the sporting context of course" lmao and Foreman keeps trying to land a bomb and ali grabs the back of his head and shit ID be so pissed

  • At 7:00 mins where within 1 second unleashes 5 in a flurry.

  • Epa, insulto gratuito?

  • george foreman looks like apolo creed from rocky

  • ali vuela sobre el ring muy rapido...

  • Look at alì!!!!

  • if i had the body like foeman i Fihgt Tyson Belive ME!!! ON THAT! Buster det it holyfild det it WHY CANT I... no tyson wasent on his prime OHH SHUT UP.. TYSON WAS ON HIS PRIME WEN HE LOST AGIENST BUSTER.. HAHAHA,,,, BUSTER MY IDOL MAY GOD BE WITH U .... TYSON WOULD NOT EVEN STAND 1 ROUND WITH FOEMAN NUFF SAID

  • @BunBRIP FOEMAN?

  • WHY DIDENT FOEMAN FIHGT MUHAMMED ALI LIKE HE DIT WITH FRAZIER Foeman had the best body and power in boxing histroiy it that guy was getting trained like TYSON. Foeman wel kill tyson like he was a kid. FoemanALOT ALOT MORE POWER. alot taller plus he cut take a beating TYSON CUT NOT TAKE A BEATING. TYSONONLY HAD HES SPEED foeman would have killt tyson on his prime cus foeman was not a normal boxer that guy. was a killer. TYSON JUST A BITCH NUFF SAID!

  • @BunBRIP tyson only had speed? u are mistaken my friend he had speed and power

  • @Kane16802

    Tyson had everything!!!!

  • If Foreman was trained by D'amatto i think history would be much different. Especially if he was taught to throw hooks like Tyson. He throws em too wide. Tyson would get in close and throw all his weight into them. Just another "what if" situation

  • come on no one here likes lenox lewis

  • sheeeeeet, i forgot how good this fight was, poor old george looked mesmerised, for a man with the onset of parkinsons and taking beta blockers ali was unbeleivably fast.

  • omg, 7:03, and some other moments. what speed, omg

  • no, ali es el de blanco

  • i love this fight

  • ali es el de rojo verdad?

  • Comment removed

  • i like ali and all but he was grabbing way too much in this fight lol

  • ali is just unbelievably fast wis them combination punches, u dont even c feather wieghts moveing hands as fast ali does

  • He ate those shots but look at him now,.. all that eatin punches caught up to him , now he shakes constantly,. lol but he's fast as fuck =O

  • @TyeDye07 Ali has parkinson. Everybody can get parkinson. If Ali never started boxing, he would've been a painter all his life, and he'd probably be dead already.

  • @GMGvanS and i bet the world would be a whole lot worse than it already is if it weren't for Ali.....

  • @bigD2387 Amen.

  • @TyeDye07 actually Parkinson disease is not caused by boxing. if so, how come lennox, klitchko, tyson, etc etc don't get it? its just is in the genes. after all, Ali got everything he wanted, while you with no parkinson are sitting in your chair and trolling around

  • @nazirdjon i got everything i want also =D but oh it was said that boxing caused his because he took soo many shots to the head.

  • Watching this its obvious foreman is no match for Ali. Ali is light years ahead of foreman in skills. Foremans power is nothing for Ali. Ali ate those shots without a blink.

  • The greatest of all time Muhammad Ali

  • Ali completely schooled Foreman. You can see Ali was trying to tire Foreman out right away. Ali came right out in the 1st round, threw a quick combo and pushed Foreman's head down. Yeah Holmes had great skills but was certainly no Ali. Holmes didnt know how to push, shove and lean on the back of his opponents like Ali did. Some may say that isnt boxing skills but i disagree. I think doing that stuff is beneficial in tiring fighters out. Ali knew all the tricks. Smartest fighter of all time.

  • foreman would of wasted tyson with his awesome power,he woulda left a grill imprint on his thick head

  • Best thing on Youtube

  • the 5 dislikes no nothing about boxing

;ldfakjfl;dsakjfl;skdjfl;ksdjf;lakjdfl;kasdjf

  • why are you ppl talkin shit about tyson? notice how when tyson punches...you hear a fucking whack. when ali punches...it looks like nothing but jabs and straights. yes...he's fast. so was tyson. you think ali's straights and jabs are more effective than tysons power? maybe..if you wanna dance around round after round and tire your opponent out. anyone get what im saying? tyson had speed..seems like that combined with his power would be enough to take Ali. tyson kept his gloves up more also.

  • Anyone ever count how many times Ali held Foreman by the back of the neck and pulled his head down?

  • @zenmachinefilms Yeah I agree. I am a big Ali fan but if there was not any holding in this fight then Foreman would have probably overpowered Ali and won the fight within 4 or 5 rounds. As every time George attacked Ali was breaking his attacks up with the constant holding and wrestling. But George did have a habit of pushing his opponents around at that time so maybe that is why Ali kept holding him and also to make a point to George. As Ali did look stronger in the clinches in this fight.

  • The most greatest boxer of the universum, who can be bigger after his carrier then any one else.Respect forever.

  • foreman estaba muy lento no?

  • o ali muy rapido...

  • @marioe1988 xD
