  • man this is awesome! Nice upload!

  • Gorgeous playing man,

    same amp BTW!

its got very beautiful sounds, its almost a full scale multi effects pedal too :D

  • Now sing it!

  • wow... your guitar sounds great for a Squier

    great cover btw :)n

  • @MojeImeNijeBitno This is my first guitar so I can't compare it with another, but people are always impressed of its sound :p Thanks for commenting dude, I appreciate it ;)

  • @e4i you're welcome ;) I guess your amp also has a lot to do with the way the guitar sounds, but it's impressive anyways. Keep up the good work.

  • @e4i ahh, the guitar is only as good as the player. And you sir, are a good player.

  • thats really succesfull..! 5 star*****

  • @MephistoXVI Thanks man, I really appreciate it :)

  • Do you usually play with your left thumb in there, or you are just getting used to it? Cause you gotta watch the bone friction in the back of your hands with that position. Great cover by the way.

  • @educassiano I'm use to play with the thumb over ;) Thanks to worry about my bone :p

  • Hi man, wow this a great cover, I really like your tone on this one! 5 stars all the way. cool JILLMOL

  • love it :) great job

and i hate your fingers :D

  • lol, thanks dude ! I hate yours too :)

  • Pourquoi massacrer une chanson aussi belle? T'as pas honte?

  • Dude, what chord you play at 0:37

  • Super cover et magnifique son, bravo !

  • @TchernoBillTube Merci mec, la prochaine fois que je posterais un commentaire sur une de tes videos je le ferais en français ^^. Continue a faire de belle video sur ces beaux morceaux de John !

  • nice bro

  • @kharlos84 Thanks dude ! Really !

  • This sounds excellent! Keep rockin', Gareth!

    -Andy

  • Thanks Andy, I'm glad you like it ! I'm gonna check out some of your videos !

  • Very nice Gareth

    Nice color guitar

  • Thanks dude, I like this color too, it reminds me color of Hendrix guitar at Woodstock :p

  • also for most of the chord progressions are u mostly playing the higher notes in the chord

  • Yes when I'm strumming I try to pick some high note and not just trumming up or down, most of the time I mute the e srting and the highest string I hit is the B string . Is it what you asked ?

  • Yes ,When John plays the Chorus part of the scar tissue live, he not just strumming down or up he pick some high notes like Gareth does

  • its good i tend to beat my guitar for some reason i need to get some touch in my right hand good playing thiugh

  • u have a light right hand

  • You mean in a good or a bad way ?! :p . Yes I know that ^^

  • Great sound here too!

  • Thanks.

  • listening to this cd in the dark and loud at nite like john said is really good , and quality playing man , really good audio n video quality here

  • Thanks for the kind comment, and yes I recommend anybody to hear this album in a great atmosphere !

  • fantastic cover! thanks! 5stars

  • @slot4x4 . Thanks a lot dude ! Keep on rockin' ;)

  • Very good, this is my first time hearing the song. I'd like to hear you with an american standard :P

  • @PatrickIsLost . And so do I !!! I'm thinking about purchasing a Fender Jaguar 62 Reissue. Thank for the comment man !

  • beautiful:)

  • Thx man and thanks to John Frusciante for givin' us so much good music and inspiration .

  • wow this is really good

  • Thx guy !

  • sounds really nice for a squire, you have the right idea here, you have emulated frusciante's sound really well. a tiny bit unrehearsed in places, but no you did a brilliant job. nice work

  • Thx mate, actually I didn't especially wanted to emulated Frusciante's tone, but I'm one of those guys that love clear sound since they've heard Little Wing :p .

Yeah it was really unrehearsed, I'd never played the song along the original one before recording this first take, so I've got some problem, but I'll certainly do a real recording one of these days !

Thx again ! Keep on riding ;p

  • the thing that i enjoyed most about listening to this is that you seem play by feel in the same way that i (on the days that i am feeling connected) do. i would rather listen any day to something like this than something that is very clearly overrehearsed to the point where it loses that beautiful pure energy that is essential to making really good music.

  • very few people seem to incorporate it into they're playing though as they are to busy letting they're ego get in the way and trying to show off. music to me isn't about clinical perfection its about expression. these are the reasons why your playing stands out to me, so you should be proud of it!

  • what i meant is that you have emulated his style rather than tone, sorry i should have chosen my words better! i adore that really clear crisp sound aswell, which is frustrating at the moment as i have a Gibson Les Paul but what i desperately want an olympic white US standard strat with a rosewood fretboard for that pure unadulterated stratocaster tone! touble is i can't currently afford one and it would kill me to sell my les paul!

  • I think I've got to thank you once more, now I understand clearly what you mean ;) . I share same feel as your about music and what it have to be, I'm more impressed by simple guys I could see playing in the street that are connected to their feel than guys that masturbate their neck, Curtain from JF illustrate it well. Personally I had never taking lesson or things like that, because it afraid me that someone have to tell you and show you something that has to be part of your instinct.

  • I can't read sheet music, write music and I don't mind, it allows me to hear songs my way so to play it my way and to improv my own style. I think it's because of Jimi Hendrix... I learn a lot from him and John Frusciante. I don't want to be a guitar player with awesome skills, what I'm looking for is extract and reproduce sounds from my mind, and there are no shredding stuff in it :) .

I don't know if it's relate to Jimi once, but the Stratocaster suit well to me, its sound, shape...

  • Hope that one day you could afford buying the guitar that suit you !!! Have a great night man, and keep on rockin !

  • Veryyyyy nicee!!

    =D

  • I didn't know Kiedis got family in Brasil :p . Thx dude, keep on rockin' !

  • a bit more practice needed but nice, great sound:D Is that a real strat?

  • No, it's a Squier, you should have read the description, I've read yours :p And yes its a bit sloppy sometime, the intro and the first strumming are off rythm, I did it first take and it was the first time I played it with the song backtrack so I was a bit lost . I'll redo it after practicing it ! Keep on rockin' !

  • Wow what a great sound! Very good cover!

  • cool

  • Thx, it's hard to find time to answer to a post with all the video you sent us :p

  • Sweet !!!

  • Nice to hear it from you, keep on rockin' !

  • Nicely done!

  • Thx dude, I'm not really satisfied with it, maybe I'll redo it soon :)
