I do the same thing when harvesting them. I found that it's very easy to separate the leaves from the berries by adding lots of water to the bucket and most of the leaves float to the surface while the berries stay on the bottom.
I wonder if there are any other uses to the plant. Leaves, bark, root etc.
I wish we had those trees here in MN, this has been an interesting video series, I have enjoyed.
