Geometry was in use in Mesopotamia and Egypt and the Indus Valley (which is NOT the same as India) in 3000BC. The Greeks more-or-less codified these disciplines and the Arabs refined at least algebra. Hindu India doesn't factor into the history of mathematics very much at all.

Unfortunately the world is very complicated and some things just suck! I've always thought of your country with respect and admiration. I'm not alone w/ thinking we should stop propping up Pakistan. Maybe America became a powerhouse too soon! There is a huge disconnect between the populous and the powers that be. Don't get me wrong. There are many good traits belonging to America. 1. weapons are fungible..meaning that if Pakistan buys weapons from the Us...so can India...India chose to buy its weapons from the Soviets because the Soviets gave them a better price/performance ratio.
2. Why should the US take sides in the Pakistan vs. India border dispute?

Another interesting detail you should know about India-US nuclear deal is,
When India approached its long time friend Russia for nuclear fuel and a deal related to it, Russia said that it cannot help India, since international laws prohibit transfer of nuclear fuel. Russia also suggested that India should approach the US for waiving the restrictions without signing NPT. Russia knows that only the US has the voice and clout to convince 100 member countries to vote for India.

Now the world's largest arms importer, India spends billions of dollars a year on weapons imports, some of questionable value, while it neglects to build its own armament-production base. US has good control over Puppet Pakistan with nuclear weapons (Again you made the wrong assumption that Pakistan would just stick to terrorism, completely ignoring Pakistan's nuclear bombs)

Good relations with top 2 global military powers (US and Russia) is good for India and Indian government is doing a good job.

International politics is more complicated than you think. Since you are still thinking about cold war politics, I can give you some interesting details about US - Russia - China - India - Pakistan politics. Till Tiananmen square massacre in 1989, China was also a puppet of the US. Technology was flowing from the US to China and in 1971 war between India and Pakistan, US asked China to jump in and help Pakistan. They were that close at that time. Russia was against any moves by China or US.
