1. Slow turn on.. slow turn off.. * wink wink.. nudge nudge.. know what I mean.. know what I mean.. * :3
2. Your circuit is awesome! I've seen a Simpsons pinball redone with LED's, and it just wasn't the same. I love how you perfectly recreated, the exact effect, of a regular incandescent.
3. Do you have the finished circuit, w/ parts list? Schematic, whatnot?
@kiyotewolf I don't really have a finalized schematic. Converted a machine and put it out on location, but it's been 6 months ago and I don't remember the values. I changed values for different areas to give a nice effect.
Awesome job there! I think you've really addressed a major gripe against the LEDs. I suppose the other one is that they are a little too "cold" in appearance. I recently converted my High Speed to LED lighting and love the brightness and color purity but don't care for the instant attack and decay. I think it is especially distracting when playing in a darkened room. Anyway, the trick now is to integrate your circuit into a LED bulb replacement, so that no machine modification is necessary.
How do I know if it will flicker when I change to LED? Have a Stern Stars 1978...

Simple and cool idea. This definitely takes away one of my major objections against LEDs.
Now, this circuit needs to be build into the replacement LEDs.

can you show how you actually implemented this? Do you need a circuit for each light bulb?
