i'm almost 13 and i've bin playing video games since i was like 4 and started playing rated M Games when i was like 7-8 and am i a violent person? NO, i never got into fights, only with my sister like once or twice but thats it. you just gotta teach your kids the difference between reality and virtual reality, whats right and wrong and it also helps if you are there for your child and not just ignore them.

Video Games just like Movies or even books GIVE IDEAS, they may get more creative in HOW they're going to end their own life.

However you can not blame Video Games, Movies, Books or Music for a school-shooting, it takes for example a kid who gets bullied all the time, hates his life and gets no help from anybody, kid gets desperate and wants revenge, aranging a school shooting, it's the mental problems the kid got causing him to do it, not seeing someone shoot someone else.

Kids are insane. They will become violent for random reasons. If you dont think they should be playing violent games, then dont give them to your kids.

Games like Halo or Ninja Gaiden probably dont make kids violent because of how out-worldish they are. Games like GTA are another story. But who cares. Its the parents decision to buy in the first place.
