Homebrew is a application made for psps. you can download them off of google, and but you'll need cfw, and there are easy ways to install custom xmbs, just download them on google its a home brew cxmb editor thingy its kool

i have a 4 gig mem stick...to find the theme that is on my psp just search google for "large original midnight black 4.01 m33" thats what the theme is called...there is no specific application that runs the playstation 1 games..once you get CFW is pretty much does everything for you
