You Too? Man Back then it was Shit Scary. Now It's pretty much nothing. I even put it to Full screen to see if the effect was still there. But alas It was not , but pretty cool to watch. I see they haven't switch to monsters in the OTA . I guess that would be season 2 we see monsters.

I thought I was the only one! I remember one episode where some guy was sent crashing through blue wallpaper and two things came from each side of the wall and from my two year old mind I thought he was crushed to death! I later received that same episode years later on a tape trade and realized one side was holding an axe and the other a "severed" head. I guess that isn't much better than being crushed.

You're not kidding! I saw one episode of the 1st season when some chick named Marquette went Off The Air with 0 points and they kicked her out of her chair and replaced her with a skeleton! That gave me nightmares until they changed the Off The Air format in the 2nd season and the nightmares went away!
