Dear Mike,

Thank you so much for your presentation. I will get my Adam within the next few weeks as it is now on its way. When I get mine, what will be your recommendation for new user? Do I need to update anything? What will be the best website that I can read about Adam?

The ONLY problem I have with the Adam is only 8GB of internal memory. I kind of wish there was more, but with those specs, I really won't complain. I believe they said that other versions with more memory would be coming out later.

i saw some videos here on youtube on viewing angles on the lcd notion ink, looks just as bad as the g tablet. just got my email link to buy one too, looks like they ran out of lcd wifi models. still debating if i want one

.... i better wait .... already have 2 invitation for buying the adam but ... i want to make sure they finish working on the UI, make it workable and smooth with Android 3.0 ... cuz eden seem buggy;...for $550 it better work seamlessly..

Phew, brought the system back to stock but then was stuck in APX mode. Flashed it again and stuck in boot loop. I have to say thought these are pretty full proof from dying. Went to droidpirate and got a good set of flash files and loaded them to a SD card and whammo system is back up and running to return to sears :)

Roebeet, thanks for your help also in this matter. I wonder if the Adam is this robust in not wanting to die :)

Where do you order the Notion Ink Adam?

The fact that HDD are not seen can only bee a software problem so the Adam will not be different with the same OS.

I like Tegra and Pixel Qi and probably the Adam is the only device that have this two at the moment .

I thnk the xoom is going to be nice BUT for the money will not provide anything more than a honeycomb out of the box experience. I cant recall off of the top of my head but the two seperate cameras is nice one being 5mp. But other then that and some more interal memory arent we talking simlar hardware?

I want to try the adam port rom but dont want to risk breaking the gtab i have to return haha.

@Vectorr66 if you can master APX mode, then the risk is fairly low. I've done some really nasty things to my GTAB - wiped the bootloader, recovery and the kernel, and still managed to bring it back to life. APX mode is AWESOME.

He's spot-on about the viewing angles -- it's the worst thing about the GTAB device and it personally drives me nuts. I hope that the Adam LCD is better (I'm hearing mixed reviews on it, so far).

I don't know how well the USB storage works versus a GTAB. TnT (Lite) is mostly stock, but some of the storage issues could be fixed via another mod like VEGAn, or even the gADAM (Adam firmware GTAB port).

Mike, you should actually check out the gADAM GTAB port while you're waiting for the Adam.

i feel EXACTLY the same way, i myself have an iphone, love it and was thinking about the iPad but personally i love android, there are SOOO many possibilites you can do with it, im on 14 but this is my opinion

sorry i made a smart remark on the last upload of your video that was all black.

I thought it was trying to make a statement by saying, sitting here watching a black screen for 11 minutes will make you as impatient and crazy is it has made me waiting for 6 months. haha

Anyway a slight misunderstanding.

I am also returning the g-tab simply because the viewing angles are irreparably horrid. Flash any great rom and you still cant see the whole screen even looking at it head on. yikes...
