Yes for sure I really enjoy the piece. Although I don't have sense (feeling) mood of pathet in Javanese Gamelan laras. Sound of Violin in this piece is great. Often sound of Violin timbre does not match with Javanese laras, to me, but not the case in this. Probably because it was not in the pathet.

The composer was a big fan of gamelan music. I don't think his intention was to compose an authentic piece, but more to create one inspired by the instrument with the use of western instrumentation. He has many pieces in this style.

Wuah enak banget nih, saya suka, walaupun saya tidak merasakan adanya nuansa pathet dalam laras Gamelan Jawa. Maklum namanya juga American Gamelan. Suara timbre umumnya kurang cocok dengan Gamelan. Mungkin kali ini cocok karena keduanya sudah dibuat in tune.
