Hey! This is wonderful! I don't recall this as the original version in the movie though. Maybe there was another version. But the version I recall had a larger chorus and was very heard to understand. This one has the vocal right out in front and well-articulated by some Brits.

i remember watching the non-animated version of this movie, and was so surprised when they kissed hahaha i remember my jaw dropping and my eyes widening! hahaha only a disney movie can trigger a response like that. i don't know about you, but i still have hope that this phase of horrible movies about "saving the world" will pass... just needs time. they are somewhat progressing. if you watched Lemonade Mouth, you would agree.

And the best Disney time was in the 90's. and today the people don't drew by hand like in the 90's and that makes also different. i think they were classics and really artistic because walt disney had an artistic vision and culture that was very special, he wanted to have the best painters , the best singers , the best music he put his heart and hard work in each movie , now disney is not the same, because the one in charge of disney doesnt have the same perspective of art as walt disney, the person who owns the disney company now only thinks about money, and technology to make things faster, not better.

i just want to say that as a native american, I do not hold a grudge against Disney for the controversial "red man" song. It was a different time for movies, they were less sensitive.

OH MY GOD!!! Peter Pan is my favorite movie EVER, (well, second, but it was first for my first 10 years of my life)!!! Also, this fits pretty good with Alice, although I never need to watch Alice again because I have seen that movie over 200 times. I memorized the tea party scene. Seriously. Anyway, this song is so beautiful, I used to know all the words when I was 4, but I forgot.

They originally were going to use this for Alice?!? I can't see how. It doesn't fit with the story at all. And it's much more poignant than anything in Alice, which is a rather cold film. (entertaining, but cold)

In any case, regardless of context, something about that music just makes me choke up. Gets to me--makes me sad and I don't know why. Does it have that effect on anyone else?

I learned tnat it was originally made for Alice in Wonderland when i watched my Alice in Wnderland DVD, on the extra's pmsl. I am so glad they didn't use it in that and that they put it in Peter Pan, it's amazing.
