Actually, the MD-10 did not come before the MD-11 - it was the other way around.....the MD-10 was a conversion of existing DC-10 aircraft to an MD-11 ACF (Advanced Common Flightdeck). There is no way that the MD-10 could have entered in to service ahead of the MD-11, since so much of the technology between the MD-11 and the MD-10 conversion aircraft is shared.....sorry man, but your information is incorrect..

The tri-jets are good looking jets, which is the L-1011s, the DC-10s, and the DC-11s.

There is no such thing as a DC-11....the MD-11 was a reinvention of the original DC-10

@pcressma Although interestingly there was an MD-10...it was a cockpit upgrade for the DC-10 before they did the MD-11.
