  • The original wins.

  • Now THIS is how a drop should be done. Man I fucking loved partying in the 90s.

  • this goes beyond music.

  • So anyone that was there for Utopia NYE 00/01 @ Wonderland should remember Mark Dynamix playing this song just before sunrise and will remember the epic light show God put on for this track. Proof God loves Trance.

  • This is the Matt Darey Remix, not Gouryella or PvD.

  • Holy shit this is amazing. Shame I was born in 1996 and missed the times of great trance music (late 90's). Oh well.

  • grandissimo PAUL VAN DIK

  • i cant tell you how much appreciate this soung..its just epic on a scale so large its in space.

this was in the good days....not like todays crap on the radio.

  • This is 1998 ! FRANCE wins the World Cup !

  • 1:24 is fuckin minttt

  • i dont understand why people like this song...it only has like 30 seconds of decent trance sound...jesus.... GOURYELLA 4EVA

  • this was the one on the soundfactory part 1 CD from late 1998. best mix of all

  • farking awesome tune and agree this is the best version by farrr... this and corstens orange theme remix were the best trance tracks of alll timeeeeeeeeee

  • @andrew78m same here, my top two favorite tracks

  • Right up there with the original orange theme, 2 of my favorite deeeeep tracks.

  • this is a pure classic the best version of this amazing tune 1998-2002 was the best years of trance since then music started to sound wank mmmm good times

  • One of the classic dance music pieces. Worth mentioning as fine example of late 20th Century dance music in music history books.

  • ahh the summer of love 1998-2001, long summer. i wish i could go back to those care free days....mercy

  • the next song is Bullet in a gun

  • Nothing better than chilling out to the best genre of music. Bring back the 90's!

  • FUCK TIESTO.

  • THIS IS WAT I CALL GENUWINE TRANCE MUSIC!!!

  • ^-^ totally awsome =P

  • Genre: REAL uplifting Trance ^^

  • Why is music so shit today?

90's trance will always be the best, Justin Bieber can get fucked.

  • This is music to my ears..

  • i always thought the name of the track was Binary Finary. All of the club CDs i bought in 1999 (soundfactory VS The Tunnel), (Sound Factory VS Exit '99), the track was always called "Binary Finary. Now i realize the track is called 1998. It makes alot more sense now. And I still love this song now 13 years since i first heard it.

  • NICE!!!!

  • This is a pretty terrible versio nfo this song btw! Just a heads up, check some other versions/mixes, they are much better. Alex Morph also freshed it up this year if you want something with some modern production ... though the original has stood the test of time.

  • Bagleys,London

    The Rocket,London

    The Fridge, Brixton

Brixton Academy .Goo0d Times.Great music, wonderful people ........

  • @TheRealRoadWitch tracks like "the launch", "ecstasy" and "it began in africa"

  • @robaralis YAY !! awesome thought ... if YOU were at any of these locations, we could well have literally bounced into one another lol ... i did a LOT of bouncing lol

  • CLASSIC ! :)

  • HATE IS BAGGAGE

  • THIS IS FUCKING CLASSIC! JUST FUCKING CLASSIC

  • 15 ppl are fucking retarded! How can u not like the classic of trance!?

  • Brings back Zillion memories! Best club ever! Great track

  • you the mennn!!! and thanks four upload this truck:D:D

  • If this doesn't get you in the mood on a Friday night at 6pm, I don't know what ever will. EPIC!!!

  • Ooooooft Its Safe to say you just dont get Quality Trance like this anymore ! .... Everything Good Dies At Somepoint but i can safely say that the Best Days were 1997 - 2003 For Trance In The Uk , Artists & Songs such as Born Slippy , ATB , Public Domain , Zombie Nation , System F , Delerium - Silence , Carte Blanche , For An Angel ,Solar Stone - Seven Cities, Mauro Piccotto - Lizard & So Much More haha - Songs that all made Top 20 in the Charts back in the day, its embarrasing what you see now

  • Early to mid 90s were the best times. Raves in full force every fuggin weekend!!

  • mmmmm....tune is massive and will always be special in my heart....drugs helped and when hardcore (shellys) died and trance came in I thought it was a sad day but as age got hold of me and i still popped them little buggers I realised that it was just the beginning. of a new era Now settled down with kids and as much as I miss the old days I`m glad I did it when i did cos the s`posed clubs now are shite. Long live the memories and may they last with me cos today has no club scene or soul. x

  • This is probably the most incredible music I have listened to. Ever. I never get sick of it. :)

  • @rjkwerty then maybe you should listen to music more often!!??

  • @beersvanbas *shrug* i listen to a variety of music, not just one genre

  • Yes, ofc the best time was when you discovered the music and most likely were young. The music of today can never be good. Ofc thats what the old guys said back when you were young listening to whatever you listened to.. "todays music suck" they said. And you repeat the circle. Open your mind to new musical experiences, no matter age, style or artist!

  • and anyone wanting to listen to some amazing mixes, go on line and find some old essential mixes, being scottish, theres a really good one from ingliston in 1998, december, pete tong, winter dance, bloody brilliant, look out for paul oakenfold of course and carl cox, oh yeah find some pills, take with some friends, make a big bloody dance space and proceed to try to chew your ear off!! simples!! then prepare to avoid parents for a day or two, then watch human traffic!! nice one bruvva!!

  • to the youngsters, i think you make some valid points actually, the big reason we all loved the ninties was indeed of those little pills they called ecxtacy!! those wee things kept you up all night with legendery energy levels, not only that but music sounds about 100 better when your minced, raves of the early 90's and then the house and trance of later days are testiment to this. Pills combined with the music were an amazing experience, the physcological effects i think, brought an end to it.

  • The original is much better and a real classic....just my opinion!

  • Best time was early 90´s like 93,94 and 95 ! Afterwards the mainstream beginns @ 99/00

  • @crashoverride1780

    yes I agree best time

  • AMAZING!!!!!!

  • WHAT MIX IS THIS ???

  • Yeah the classics was great in my late teens, music just isn't like it used to be.

  • this is the fuckn best !!!! trance ever GOLDEN AGE of trance fuuuuuuuuuck yeeeeeeeaaaaah! papas & beer Rosarito mexico fuck man MEMORIES

  • I need this mp3, HELP ME!!!

  • i wish i had experienced how it used to be " back in the hey days" im 16 tho.

, from what i hear its just goten ALOT of attention , and has been "touched by the wrong hands"

    although im

trying to keep the spirit going,

  • I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SONG FOR 3 YEARS AND NOW I HAVE FOUND IT !!!!!!!

  • @MacBxHD 3 years? you clearly didn't look very hard :P

  • @MacBxHD Did you not think to check youtube in those 3 years -_-

  • Wish I could go back to when I was 17 years old, me and my mate could never get into the clubs so we just used to crank this tune out in his nova at max volume with me getting pissed on cider in the passenger seat, fucking happy days!!

  • Wish i had been around in this decade!!

Im 19 and doing my fooking best to keep up the good work!

Emporium Coalville !!! Best club in UK!!! Passion!

  • Reminds me of being 18 again.30 years old now and everything seems crap.

  • @29robzombie You took the words out of my mouth there fella. If only we could do it all again eh !?! :)

I miss those days, so much has changed.

  • @MrFunkehMonkeh It's changed for the worse aswell, the young ones want to kick each over to death now.

  • The best artist and DJ's came from 1991-1999. Crew like Binary, Amen, Red 5, Ultrasonic, ATB, Sash and loads more

  • what great track the music lives on with more strenght and spirit

    xx;o)xxxxxx> d.jsunray

  • this ant nothing 90s 2000 was the best us old time boys still no how to rave

  • what the hell??? Rave hey days of 99-01??? the best stuff came out in the early 90's. From, In my opinion, 98 onwards, the genre changed forever, no where near as good as it was, never will be.

  • @andydale78 I thought I was the only one who thought that. Prodigy Experience, still a favorite.

  • @andydale78 well i would say 2001 onwards

  • @andydale78 No offense, I could never appreciate the early 90s. I was born in 93 but for me 1998 was always vastly more special.. Perhaps the whole scene was better in the early 90s (as everyone appeared to be completely fucked of their faces and able to come together in a way not experienced since the late 60s) but the actual music and style improved greatly towards the end.

  • @andydale78 It can be, if cockheads stop listening to Basshunter.

  • @andydale78 I CAN ONLY LAUGH, HAVE SAT THROUGH THE 80'S / 90 'S /00'S I CAN ONLY SAY LATE 88-94 IS THE BEST ERA. LET ME GUESS YOU FIRST WENT OUT LAT 90'S.

  • @superboyone01 Actually, I started going out in the mid 90's, about 94, but had been listening to dance/ tekno/trance/etc since about 1990. To be honest, I can only laugh at you because you obviously didn't read my comment properly. It does actually say, that "the best stuff came out in the early 90's."

  • @andydale78 it went subliminal after tony de vit died. i like it personally though.

  • @andydale78 i kind of agree, though my most active club party nights were 98 - 00. but i remember the music becoming dumb, old school Jungle Drum n Bass just vanished, and the clubs stopped playing complex trance tunes and focused more on catchy progressive house music.

im not even sure what the clubs play today, but i sure as hell miss the nineties. tracks like 1998 and robert miles children will always give me the chills

  • I remember we use to have to call in a # to get info where the location was a hour b4 cus the vendors was anywhere underground shit.. but now it all becamed mainstream.. it's not like how it use to be anymore..

  • music now a days is crap i love this song my dad likes this song and so do i im like a raving youngster and i LOVE the tune

  • cool..,.,.,.,.,.,

  • What is the full mix.The one that starts when the first winds down. This sounds like a ferry corsten remix.

  • People are spoon fed so much commercial crap nowadays that the new people of this world just don't have an ear for REAL music such as this! People that live in FAIRYLAND need a nice dirty rave to develop their music tastes!

  • best fucking tune ever ......wat memories........class

  • "Whats your name"

  • i was born in the 90s but grew up around all this and i have to say i LOVE LOVE LOVE it ;D

  • i fell like smashin my head against the wall in clubs, they play some shitty modern bollox when all the true ravers want to be enlightened with thiss but the dj thinks he knows better. i was just a youngster in 98-00 and wish to god i could be this age but back then. none of this justin beiber...neyo ...50 cent shite. true music that lets you leave the world behind.

  • im 17 and im fucked of the music in discos of now... I want MUSIC LIKE THIS !!!!!

12 Guys disliked this cause they have turned of the sound and didn't realize it.

  • @smukulu

I'm 41, experienced the great exiting years '89-'96 in Berlin, Hamburg, FFM. Guys like you give me hope that there is the right next generation somewhere! The spirit is still alive!

ACHTUNG: Am Sa.05.März 2011 findet die nächste REVIVAL PARTY 1990-1995

in HAMBURG statt! Mit dabei DJ DAG - JENS MAHLSTEDT - SVEN DOHSE - WOLFGANG KOCH - MARTINK? - DJ YANNY uvm. Best of U.N.I.T. - OPERA HOUSE

  • @emnsch

    lg

  • @smukulu lol i was wondering why there was no sound at all

  • @smukulu Haha, fellow 17 year old.. I got to admit that I got Dubstep and Electrohouse fever, but occasionally I look back at eurphoric trance and think.. Shit, we've lost quite a special form of music (because honestly, modern trance is unspeakably bland and produced by people who've never touched drugs stronger than Red Bull and Sherbert Dib Dabs or had any kind of spiritual connection their music). Afraid you'll need to travel to places like Goa and Russia to find real trance at raves.

  • @smukulu Go see Armin Van Buuren live if you wanna hear stuff like this.

  • If you don't know what its like to feel the force of this song at a club or party with a bangin system, you haven't truly lived.

  • de grands moments techno...merci..thx

  • If trance could be defined in one song this would be it

  • i just love this part where it gets super awesome

  • Fucking hell i wish i was born a few years earlier so i could of been part of the house and trance raves in the late 80s/90s

  • @crabpal5 it was awesome...pills lasted all night, and if you had more than 2 you were hardcore

  • @blofish365 Yeah, the scene in london is a lot different now, the raves are more legitimate but they are still amazing. Raving in london is fucking amazing <3

  • This just reminds me of Ibiza <3
