  • WELL DONE! you are great. enjoyed it a lot :)

  • When are you comin back to Calgary again Alex?

  • good job man!

  • sounds absolutely demented.. loved it! ^_^

  • That's by the way simply my comments from one pianist to another not a critique of any kind. Overall you definately mastered the piece and I would give this performance a strong 4 plus stars. Rodney, (as I said although I haven't recorded this piece its one I play). You can check out the ones I have uploaded at Okera123. Always welcome any comments/ suggestions..

  • Good job!! I like your interpretation! Yours and Ron Regev are the closest to how I myself feel to play it. I like the tempo you start out with...dont know if you intended to, but slowed down abit by the end. I feel the overall energy of this piece is so hype it pans better with a tempo consistancy.

  • Nicely played...you played the part at 1:25 exactly how it should sound! (or at least the way i think it should sound!) This peice truely is heavy metal for the piano !

  • Agreed. Amusingly even Prokofiev himself gets it "wrong" when playing this ;-)

I like how a piece can become a bit more when interpreted a certain way.

  • sounds very clean and well learned. it may just be the piano but do try and articulate at the beginning like a on measure 6

  • In any case, you're a wonderful pianist, don't change the way you play!

I'll see you in Carnegie some day =D

  • Sweet job, helluva lot better than most performances i've heard of this piece!

One of my fave tour de force pieces!!

Tip, dont slow at the beginning where you have the staccato descending chromatic notes, rather line them and let them fade...then BAM!! Dissonance!! Sinister...

Moreover, this is perhaps one of the most wholesome performance i've seen of this prokofiev

  • Impresionante... Sublime... De lo mejor que he escuchado.

  • I didn't think that playing that fast and well was possible. You wowed me!

  • NeoMalikov has excellent technique and a very spirited interpretation of this difficult piece. I'll be back to check the next performance in a month. Fine work!

  • so far so good. *clap* *clap**clap* *clap**clap*
