They kept making the same mistake. It's Verstappen, not Verschtappen. He's Dutch, and you don't pronounce the s as sch like in German.

Rain when power of a car doesnt matter anymore and the true racer will step up. Just a shame that the track was drying again, at some point in the wet he was the fastes car on track that day. Still a race to remember though, same with the 2000 Canadian race!

A small correction, I believe that after a few grid shuffles Verstappen actually started 16th (still an incredible start). Thanks for the upload, this was the last F1 race I missed so it's great to have on youtube.

That Arrows had no business being in 2nd place, pretty awesome stuff from the flying dutchman!

Man, what a great performance. I remember watching this race live on Dutch tv, hoping that it would keep raining for the whole race. I think Verstappen would have finished at least with points in that case.

Fantastic part from 6:44 onward, the way he takes back the position of Hakkinen. I think that's one of the best pieces of driving I've ever seen.

Also great choice to include Schumacher's remarks from the press conference. Thanks for uploading!

Jos Verstappen was and still is one of the few drivers that really make me wanna watch racing.

If he wins you'll would know it and remember it, when he loses you will also know it and remember it.. he matters.. i mean, Schumacher with all his wins and championships, how much do you still know about (remember of) it? I very few, I remember the win due to team orders and I remember one crash with Mika Hakkinen, Thats it.. oh and his crash in which he was badly injured, no more thats it.

Heerlijk filmpje.. Ik kan me de race nog goed herrineren.. Heb weleens gehoord dat, als je de afstellingen van Schumi en Jos met elkaar zou vergelijken, er bijna geen verschil in zit.. Beide mannen zijn ook zeer goed bevriend met elkaar, en karten ook vaak samen.. En ze waren daarin eigenlijk allebei even goed..
