This is just my opinion but even though it is a beautiful song that Nine Inch Nails created, I don't think that Nine Inch Nails' version was as emotional as Johnny Cash's. Johnny Cash just had lifestyle and the experiences to be able to put that ammount of heart into a song.

Johnny Cash is my all time favourite artist and his version of Hurt is my favourite song so I always watch peoples' covers of it expecting to be very disappointed. I have to say, man, your version is incredible. I personally rank it as the 2nd best version (just under Johnny Cash's version, of course). You've got a perfect voice for this and your guitar skills are top notch. Keep it up!

This is one of the best covers I have ever seen. This was one of the most amazing things I have seen, and I'm usually pretty critical of covers. I've listened to this more than once because it was so good.

The only advice I can give, is that you should maybe open your mouth a little bit more when you sing, so that your voice carries a bit better. As I said before, this blew me away, and that is the only thing that I could even consider to be a flaw with this cover.
