Haven't thought about it before, but golden sun songs is easily referable to progressive metal.. Actually I think they ARE definiable as progmetal!

@Atstyle I play it myself on accordeon (check out my channel for other videos of this kind) and I disagree, it does simply not feel heavy. But the play with time signatures and the passages, and especially the ways the drums are played, are pure progressive rock-style.

I am as much talking about the original, as well as many of the other songs in the original soundtrack. There are of course exceptions, like the really slow pieces and the natives soundtracks. But when it comes to boss themes you always hear that ambitious bass line and ambitious drums, key signature changes, as well as time signatures. This is also the case of some of the more dramatic music on different locations, such as the Suhalla Gate theme, Venus and Mars Lighthouse and Magma Rock.

Um... IsaacXMia? Besides, I'm pretty sure mixing elements is like mixing eye color. The dominant element shows up over the recessive. Earth/Fire over Water/Wind, like Blue over Green. So, even if Mia and Isaac had a child, chances are it'd be an Earth Adept. I dunno.
