Okay, at 1:48(I'm guessing that you mean the part where I cut out the pictures of Toph's parents) I used a tool called "Masking." Just look on your picture(or video clip; whatever you're working with) and there should be a square on it. Click the square and your Pan/Crop will come up. (You can also right click on the clip and select "Event Pan/Crop" or something like that). Look on the bottom left-hand-side of your Pan/Crop window and it should say "Mask" underneath Pan/Crop.

Then you select the masking tool and cut out whatever you want(Make sure that the first and last part of your masking meets when you're done). Then, you can feather is so that the edges aren't as choppy. The feathering option should be on the right-hand-side of the Masking/Pan/Crop window. Just select whether you want to feather "In," "Out," or "Both." Then select how much you want to feather. Like 1.0, 2.0, and etc.

I hope that makes a little bit of sense.

I did that with Chroma Keyer. It's in the "Video FX" box. Just drag Chroma Keyer onto your video clip and then use the little dropper to select what color in your video clip that you want to be transparent(see through). Then, you can adjust it however you want.

If that doesn't make sense, you can look up tutorials on Chroma Keying or I can make one for ya.

HAHA! It's some sort of thing that I did with Chroma Keyer. I didn't even know what I was doing, and then I was like "Hey! That looks cool!" LOLZ! So, I kept it! It's just, like, two layers on top of eachother and the top one has some demented form of Chroma Keyer.

I'm sorry if I'm not much help. I tried, but I can't recreate the effect.

I really liked it. A few of the effects were a little too... hmm... colourful?

Most of them worked great though. My favs were the falling petals at the beginning, 0:59-1:01, 1:23- 1:26, 1:41, 2:06-2:08, and of course the art and voices at the end.
