i dont think 100 bucks was that great of a deal it doesnt have wheels and crap battery time. i think it is like 20min. i bought a similar plane from walmart for 50 bucks about the same quality and motar as this one. i also bought for 100 bucks a plane with wheels that is gas powered which i think is a much better deal
@spunkflunk , It is not USD100 but HKD100 to buy this plane, so it costs $10US, walmart are ripping you off if they charge $50 for it !! It comes with x3 batteries and transmitter, spare wing and props.............. It will fly for over 30mins in the correct weather, 20mins if its windy, it did come with wheels but because of the poor grass dirt i land on i prefer to slide in on its belly..... Good luck with your air-soft, looks fun ;-)
I started with this model, and it wal cool but if someone want to learn flying it isn't the best way. Much better the Easy Star or Easy Glider for learn.
Yes i would agree, more chance to learn on them. This plane is just to see if you have the right kind of attitude to actually go out and start investing real time and money........... ;-)
ooh, wow. im thinking of getting this plane. is it the same one on the hobbytron and boomerang website? this is my first plane, and i want to get the best one for a good price, so naturally im going to want to ask some questionns.
Nice Flight, I already have one it calls super fly wing but it´s the same plane (chinese) , but when i make the handlaunch it goes in a dive, did you move the rear elevators up?? for flying?? because after i "fly" i noticed that the elevators were straight, (sorry for my english)....
Throw your plane into a gentle glide, if goes down soft and smooth after 10-20ft then it's good. I guess that your plane is a little tail heavy, point the elevators down a little bit, did it help? If not, put the elevators back to zero and add a coin to the nose of the plane, did that help? Wish you luck learning ;-)
Tape will work fine, i recommend adding some form of support/splint as well as the tape, like a lollipop stick, when mine broke out in the field i just used a twig, work's well.
Not a bad idea! Thanks! When you say you used a twig, was that in the foam core or on top?
With the extra nose weight it flew brilliantly, did you add extra weight? I did find that I had a little too much weight in there at first and it was flying very fast! Tricky to land in a ploughed field...
I did try to take some videos but I had to do it myself with camera stuck to transmitter. Not much plane footage...
Cool vid but man that song is annoying. Can't you put on the Top Gun theme or something?

Does this 'plane have an aileron control, or just aileron trim when it's on the ground?
xlqex 3 years ago

Yes , same as you, they go flat sometimes after i fly too.

so, you move the elevators up before a fly?

cool video.. I received mine 12 hours ago, built it but had to get some batteries, which I just got... unfortunately, it's now midnight!
Tomorrow afternoon I'll take it for it's maiden flight.

Good luck, have fun. Video it!

I took it out and had a blast .. it ended up with a broken wing but some packing tape has hopefully sorted that out!
I've added a bit of weight to the front to hopefully stop it climbing and then stalling.
Wow, loads of fun :D
[I'll let you know how the tape fix goes]

Just tape the stick on top.
I had just enough weight to allow it to balloon a tiny bit, make's thermals easyer, just add some weight to speed it up for acro flying. ;-)
