Not to brag but i just spent the whole day figuring out this song on guitar with this video, got both guitars pretty solid, woooo! this is my fav isis song if i had to choose. garden of light is so beautiful, the whole vibration just rings into your heart. the lyrics capture in mythological essence what it is to be alive on earth as a spiritual being so poetically, and the instruments entrain with that essence. Fucking love you isis, you practically raised me from late childhood to now.

I can imagine how it must have felt the first time they played this song all the way through together for the first time. It probably gave them bigger chills than I get when hearing it.

Such a shame that Isis is no longer. They're definitely one of the best bands to come about in a very long time. Check out Cult of Luna if you enjoy Isis, they're a little more on the doom side, but very great nonetheless.
