Most documentaries play in select theaters. Then you add on the fact that this film is only appealling to Black women and the men they drag to the show. There are women of other races who go to see the film but they are usually hair lovers.
Well down here in toronto its only playing in selected theatre. It will only be playing it was released on the 16th and it was playing in 2 theatre then they removed it in one. Some I don't know what that all about but O thought That was pretty messed up. I also was told other place outside of ontario weren't playing it at at.
I live in NYC and it was playing at like every theatre all over...but they did say that it is SELECTED theatres on Oct. 9th...and EVERYWHERE on Oct. 23rd!!...so maybe that's why....don't feel bad about it...it's not a conspiracy! lol
Girl, you know this is where we live. It's 2009 and still craziness is going on! Like last nite CNN was talking about the Chief Justice (elected official) who's been in office for 34yrs has not been officiating weddings between interracial couples. When he's confronted, he talks about he has black pals who use his bathroom and he just doesn't think they should marry whites! But he doesn't think he's racist... LOL! It's a big JOKE! :D
Thank-god the movie only played in one theatre, it was a disgrace.

I didn't even get the chance to see it. I'm not even sure it played here in Winnipeg Manitoba and now it's already on DVD.
