The problem is that if you removed a central government it'd just be replaced by protection rackets, which would then grow into more governments. There are a lot of evil people in the world, and people want protection from them, which is where protection rackets come in. You then have people paying a local group for armed protection. These armed protectors make the rules and shoot those who disobey them. How is this different from a government?

I'm not for fairness. I'm for freedom. When you aim for "fairness" you end up with a middle man determining whats fair which defeats the purpose completely. A society that aims for equality before individual liberty will end up with neither. Complete freedom allows to to live how you wish and taking the power away from the government to distribute special treatment in the form of a flat tax and term limits will regulate much better in the form of market forces.

Do you see laws as violent or the threat of violence? I don't. In fact, law is not violence nor is it the threat of violence. Being arrested or being issued a citation are not violent acts but they are forceful acts, but they are not violent. Law does not advocate violence. Police use physical force only to suppress violence; And arrestment/citation are NON-violent means to enforcement of LAW.
